“La Mirande "A real piece of France"” La Mirande situated on the foot hills on the west side of the Rhone valley will provide an opportunity to see and enjoy parts of France not usually part of a travellers itinerary. You will be imbedded in the rural life of this most traditional farming area. Your convivial host Gray Veredon will share his vast knowledge of the history and culture of this region and one will leave in the knowledge that the experience will be one of the most enduring of your journey. The accommodation La Mirande, is quite unique and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the food and service which is of a personal nature. The ability of being able to use la Mirande as a base provides the opportunity to use Gary's intermit knowledge of the region to visit a much wider areas of this part of France with day excursions from Lyon to the Mediterranean
