“Words and Pictures alone cannot descibe the place, Absolutely Amazing!” You just have to experience it for yourself! Pete was an awesome host, just a phone call away for anything we needed. Traveled with our 10 year old grandson, loved the heated pool. You could not ask for a better location, just minutes from Downtown, Beaches, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, Airport. No traffic, quiet, safe and relaxing. This is the first time I have been on a vacation where I was NOT ready to come home.

“Love it when q plan comes together” Being a first time flip key user this worked out so well for me. Our trip had us in the downtown area and it was great because we could get to where we were going in 15 minuets. Also only 15 minuets or so to sea world. It was clean and safe and so nice to come back to after a long day. The owners were great and so easy to work with. I would definitely choose to stay again on another trip.

“We keep coming back” This was our second stay at the La Jolla Cottage and hopefully we will come back next year. We have never been the hotel types and like being able to have a kitchen for breakfasts and dinners. It is so nice that it is just a short walk to Wind n Sea and we had some lovely walks there in the early morning and evenings. The home is clean, the furniture is in good shape and the bed is comfortable as well.

“Great location!” Our hosts were very responsive. Casa abalone has a private back yard (we grilled dinner in the backyard on Christmas Day!), ocean view from the small front landing/sitting area, walking distance to everything,top appliances in the kitchen, luxury bathrooms, and very roomy for a family of 4. Could have a few more comfortable chairs, the furniture was a little spartan. They had two 21-speed bikes with locks for us to use. That was a real bonus.
