“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“Beautiful Setting, Relaxing Stay” This is our second visit to Tankah Bay and it's pretty hard to beat our first stay. This was definitely comparable. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and perfect for what we wanted. The caretakers were absolutely wonderful and very accommodating for our needs. I recommend taking advantage of their cooking skills, it will add to your relaxing experience and the food was excellent. Everyday you can stroll on the beach, take a swim, snorkel and kayak. Everything is right there, almost no need to leave the property. Within walking distance you have the Manatee Cenote, I highly recommend, just go early because it can get busy. Also, within walking distance, you have two bar/restaurants. My favorite part of the day was relaxing under the palapa, right on water, watching the birds hunt and dive. The beach side of the villa also offers privacy with a patio and lounging areas sheltered by hedges. I'd like to give a special thank-you to the property manager who provided us with fresh eggs from a local farm when the grocery store ran out of them just before Christmas. The Tulum ruins are a must see, as well as the Coba ruins. If you are adventurous, you can climb largest ruin in Coba and get an amazing view of the jungle. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is, but, you'll have to find out for yourselves! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this stunning villa. A much needed escape from the gray and cold of winter.

“Excellent and perfect House for vacation.” this was my first experience and was the best, perfect area, all was close in case we need to buy something. “Magical Vacation” Thank You Gail & Curlson for allowing us to rent from you. The instant we got to your place, we felt like we were "home". The location of your property is perfect, a short drive to Red Hook and close to some gorgeous beaches. The villa included many "little" amenities such as beach towels, paper goods, hairdryers, that really made my packing job much easier! The kids had the best time swimming in the pool & hot tub and ask daily when we can go back! I think even breakfast tasted better because we were able to eat it every morning on the patio overlooking St. John and Sapphire Beach. Whenever we had a concern or question, you were a quick phone call or email away. And the place looked exactly as it does in your pictures. This was one of the best vacations our family has ever taken. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Take Care!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Great stay” Spent 2 weeks here and was not disappointed at all, it met all of our needs. The condo was very clean, kitchen we'll stocked, and most important was the bed was very comfortable. There was never any noise problems day or night. It's in a great location, short walk to lots of restaurants, gift shops, and. Of course the ice cream shop. Condo us also furnished with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and mats. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.

“Very comfortable stay - enjoyed every moment of it!” Very spacious accommodations. We stayed 2 families with little girls who were very anxious to see Disney World parks. The condo was perfect for our stay, we were just about 20 minutes from Magic Kingdom so we were there in a snap. The resort is beautiful and we can't wait to come back again. There are multiple swimming pools, one close to condo's building, another one - bigger and open until 10 pm - near the club house / reception. Another similar size pool at the restaurant area with little white sand beach, volleyball net and table tennis. Also we enjoyed playing tennis on the real hard court surface near reception, very good quality and with lighting. When you need a day off from visiting parks and all these crowds staying on the resort is the great option. Shopping is very close to the resort - 7 minutes drive to Walmart, so you could get anything you need, open 24 hours. We also recommend buying tickets to all attractions at the Walmart since there is a small discount vs buying at the gates. Overall - great experience, highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely come back again!

“Birthday Trip!” I do believe this might have been the funnest trip I've ever taken in my life. Having every single thing just minutes away from you was such a delight and such a pleasure to not have to drive around constantly in the car. This community is gated and seems like a really fun place to actually buy a vacation home. Actually, while we were there we looked into it and might be doing the same thing that this particular person is offering on TripAdvisor as well! First of all, the house was just absolutely amazing... Bigger than my own home even. It was just me, my son and my husband and our house was absolutely humongous. We actually had thought we would have another family with us but it fell through. Everything was clean and perfect. There were many things like dishwasher, laptop, printer, hair dryer, straightener, toiletries, food! When we arrived, we already had some basic needs that were furnished To Us by the owners. It was such a treat to see that they really cared about us to furnish those things! There was a perfect screened in porch out the back over looking a little bit of a water marsh where we got to watch the birds everyday. The wildlife in our particular yard was extremely delightful. From frogs to lizards two birds two cranes we had an amazing time when we were relaxing at home. To my delight, there were also three swimming pools in the complex. One of the pools were in the middle of the community which was right down the street from our home, then there were two others inside the clubhouse which were also fantastic. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sitting underneath the shelter when it started to rain. Since I knew it would be very hot and we would be extremely exhausted, I asked for a maid service halfway through our vacation and I'm so happy I did. It was nice to come home after dinner to a 100% clean house with clean towels and everything perfect. I recommend that you get the service as the cleaning lady does an excellent job! The next time we booked our Walt Disney World vacation I will be using this home again without a doubt. Even though we stayed 7 days, we still did not get to see everything that we wanted to. Next time we come down we are doing 10 to 12 days for sure and cannot wait to come back to Vista Del Lago. I was really surprised on how many friends we made while we were there!! If you are looking for a family home that could easily sleep 7 people, please do yourself a favor and book this, you will be so glad that you did!!

“Good Stuff!” This place was perfect for us. ~2 adults and 3 kids in the master (2 kids in the closet Queen bed, and the baby in a pack n play & still tons of room) ~2 adults in the 2nd bedroom down stairs with their 2 kids in the closet Queen bed. ~3rd adult in the Queen in the loft ~4th adult babysitter in the bed in the loft next to the bunk beds, We had tons of room. It was nice. Enjoyed eating at the long table, and partying at the large island. Did a night at the pool with the kids and relaxed at the Hot Tub. It was nice as they had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed, and even had spices, salt and pepper, so we didn't have to buy it to use it once. My only suggestion would be to possibly place a humidifier in each room, so we would have the option of running some moisture in the room. The air is so dry, and after being wind chapped on the mountain, we ran the heater a lot, so it made it even worse. We walked to the Village and had dinner and drinks multiple time a day. Its literly that close. Maybe 80 steps... Amazing. We actually ended up calling them and staying a 3rd night, and they give a discount if you extend your stay. I would deff stay there again, and next trip up there, we will hopefully be able to stay there again!!!

“Fantastic week in Siesta Key” The townhouse was fantastic and fully equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable week. The location was outstanding - right across from the beach and the free trolley to the Village stopped right outside. “the time of our lives!” i've stayed in many places in jamaica and other parts of the caribbean and the world - hotels, villas, apartments, resorts etc etc etc. - but no place - not one, made me feel the way sevilla did. we were at home. we were so well taken care of. orchestrated by the owner, Clare, and the joy she exudes in making everything and i mean everything, just right, just so, for us - and Monica the chef cooked us three meals a day which we had requested. (she'll cook anything for you - but we requested authentic jamaican) and wow - for the cost which was minimal, we had top notch fine dining meals daily - we didn't have to ever leave the premises except to walk down to the private beach at our leisure. We were able to have a real restful and productive vacation - like we were in a cocoon of sorts - safe peaceful secure and happy. that's the atmosphere Clare and her impeccable staff provide - and we're going back at our first opportunity and i suspect every year thereafter. simply beautiful.

“Budget friendly, spacious home” We loved staying only a few short miles from Disney in a home that could accommodate our large family. Parking was very tight, but we managed. The home offered plenty towels, bedding, dishes, flatware, etc. for our large crew. I was, however, glad I packed some cookware as it would have taken a much longer time to feed a large group with the small cookware provided. I was impressed with how no one had to take cold showers as the hot water heater was able to keep up with everyone taking showers for church on Sunday morning. The air conditioning worked perfectly & the owner had recently purchased a brand new grill. We did have difficulty getting some of the electric outlets to work and one of the overhead lights did not work at all in one of the bedrooms. There were a few issues with ants and roaches when we first arrived, but we purchased bait plus the exterminator came on her regularly monthly visit while we were there & took care of the issue. I guess the biggest inconvenience was that there were no shelves on the refrigerator door. The house would have been perfect had refrigerator had those shelves or there had been a second refrigerator in the garage/game room. It was inconvenient to have to go grocery shopping every 2-3 days because the refrigerator would not hold enough food for a large group. The washer & dryer, however, were huge & plenty big! There were a few other minor issues, but we decided we would rather live with them than have to stay at the house & wait for the management company to come & deal with them. Overall, I would recommend this home to anyone. The owner is obviously trying to keep the house up.

“Most amazing vacation and service I've ever had” There are so many wonderful things to say about this vacation its hard to consolidate it down :) The house is absolutely amazing. Each bedroom is special and unique and the outdoor living space is more than we could dream of. Hio and Nadine were our chefs and housekeepers and I couldn't say anything better about those two - they made the most delicious food, helped us with any favors or questions we had, and probably made too many trips to the grocery store (and liquor store!) than usual for us! Robert was awesome as the groundskeeper - as soon as it started raining (which probably lasted 5 minutes the entire trip) he would appear out of thin air to get the outdoor seat cushions out of the rain. We had such a great time and it was my husband and mine's first time bringing our friends - its a different kind of vacation, much more authentic and cultural than most are used to so we were a little nervous about how they would like it but everyone agreed - this vacation was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxing, private, and less touristy vacation spot.
