“Wonderful stay!” We had a wonderful trip and the apartment was even better than we expected. We had no trouble getting ahold of Sonja when we arrived and she was ready and waiting for us after our taxi arrived. The apartment was very clean, very well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Really like a home away from home although the apartment is slightly larger than our house so we reveled in the extra space! We spent the first week mostly hanging around Speightstown, going to the beach a lot and exploring the town. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning; it was wonderful to sit outside and watch the waves. Our son especially loved to stand on the balcony and watch the cars go by (go figure). We did have to rearrange some of the decorations to be out of his reach, but that was a minor thing and I think I put everything back in its proper place. :) The beach was very nice and private; we were the only people using it the vast majority of the time we went down there. All the rocks and coral did make it a little hard to wade with our two year old but we did find some nice sandy spots and he had fun going out a little deeper with us holding him. We spent the second week renting a car and exploring more of the island and found that Speightstown was a very good base for going to most of the attractions that we wanted to see like the wildlife reserve and animal Flower Cave. Overall, we had an excellent trip and would recommend Barbados, and this apartment, to anyone seeking a fun and relaxing family vacation.

“Paradise Home.” We stayed at the paradise home in October of this year 2013. it was absolutely beautiful! the house was very spacious and the fishing here is absolutely fantastic! we caught many largemouth bass and huge blue gill. the home was very clean and had very modern features. there is a large screen TV in the living room and a fireplace. the stereo in the house is hooked up to the decks outside speakers so you can listen to music if you're sitting on the deck and playing cards or just enjoying the view. the nature trail walk around the lake is a must!!! It is so beautiful and you see everything from beautiful flowers to wild life. we will definitely be going back again! they have 4 beaches to swim or sun at, and each house has its own row boat and paddle boat. there is also a Jacuzzi off of the master bedroom that hold about six people with beautiful views threw the large windows of the lake and property. I guarantee if you stay here you will come back every year! the hosts are very courteous and friendly and have everything taken care of ahead of time. we went into town for the Friday night fish fry and it was fantastic! it was called the teepee super club. we are already planning are trip to go up next year!

“Fantastic” Our stay was fantastic. The condo was beautiful, classy, accommodating, family-friendly, and in the perfect location. The condo is steps away from the beach, has a gorgeous outdoor pool and hot tub (simply stunning), outdoor drink and food hut, and an indoor pool and hot tub facility for those rainy days. The condo location is directly on the main strip in panama city beach, which allowed easy access to great food and entertainment. Everything you would ever want to see and do is just minutes away. The condo owner was phenomenal! They ensured we were prepared for our trip, was prompt and informative with important information, and was available and prompt in answering any questions we had. I would high recommend this vacation rental, and will definitely visit again!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Wonderful apartment in beautiful Marigot Bay.” The apartment was fantastic. Very clean and beautifully decorated, and fully stocked for the week with towels, dishes, full kitchen, etc. Nina was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. We loved Marigot Bay, the bakery right below for soup and croissants, the nearby restaurants, and boat rides from the bay to nearby beaches and sites. Suggestions would be to try Jullietta's for dinner up the hill. They will pick you up from Marigot Bay. We had alex take us around in his water taxi, the pool at Discovery Hotel was fantastic; definitely recommend spending some time there. The Botanical Gardens are worth a visit as is the market in Castries and Rodney Bay and nearby fort. But if all you do is sit on the balcony at apartment 7a, you will be happy. It is worth the visit just for the beautiful setting and view from this private area. Would love to come back one day.

“Most amazing vacation and service I've ever had” There are so many wonderful things to say about this vacation its hard to consolidate it down :) The house is absolutely amazing. Each bedroom is special and unique and the outdoor living space is more than we could dream of. Hio and Nadine were our chefs and housekeepers and I couldn't say anything better about those two - they made the most delicious food, helped us with any favors or questions we had, and probably made too many trips to the grocery store (and liquor store!) than usual for us! Robert was awesome as the groundskeeper - as soon as it started raining (which probably lasted 5 minutes the entire trip) he would appear out of thin air to get the outdoor seat cushions out of the rain. We had such a great time and it was my husband and mine's first time bringing our friends - its a different kind of vacation, much more authentic and cultural than most are used to so we were a little nervous about how they would like it but everyone agreed - this vacation was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxing, private, and less touristy vacation spot.

“serene, secluded gem” We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at Unit 12, Sunrise Beach Villas owed by John Fitzsimmons, on Paradise Island. This property is beautiful with a great patio looking out to the beautiful pool, and ocean. It was a very quiet area, and secluded feel, but close to everything. We could walk to the ferry, Marina Village which was beautiful, groceries, liquor stores, and atlantis. The ocean was calm and warm and our part of the beach was not crowded. I will definately recommend his units to my friends, and also thank you John for being so helpful.

“Little slice of paradise” Incredible food. Perfect beach. Professional, talented staff. Great house -- comfortable, classy and laid back, all at the same time. Me and a few friends rented the villa for four days in February, and we had not a single complaint. If you are looking for a low key beach vacation, away from crowds and hubbub, this is a wonderful spot to consider. I can't think of a single complaint. Oh, and the view from the SkyLounge -- exceptional.

“Paradise” From the minute you step foot on the property you are pampered an made to feel like family. The staff reads your mine an are on top of every little detail, I don't want to forget anyone so I will tell you only a few from, Chris our friend in charge, Ramon our bartender/hero, Frank our chef, Sandy our go to gal, Rosa massages, Meriela our pedicure, Pepito an crew are just outstanding. You pick when you eat, sleep, swim, party, then the beach bon fire an band, dancing with staff, variety of food for meals, you couldn't possibly want for anything. All I can say if you do, it's not because of the Sunrise Villa or staff for sure........We were in the Presidente villa an have to say it was the best accommodations I have ever been in on a vacation.....Please treat yourself an find out for yourself.......

“Home away From Home” This was a family trip. It was four adult women and 3 adult men. We stayed September 14-17 and had a wonderful time at Llantrissant. Ms. Anne, Ms. Paulette, Danny, Benjie, Charma and Barry were all very professional and very accommodating, by the time we left they felt like family. Ms. Anne and Ms. Paulette prepared excellent meals. The house was homey and we all felt right at home. It's an older house but very well kept along with the landscape and beach area. The veranda (which is were we spent most of our time while we were at the house) provided for an excellent view. We loved having the private beach area. Charma (and Barry) walked the yard at night and made us feel very safe. I was a little nervous because you really don't know what to expect when you're communicating through email and over the phone. But Craig and afua were patient with me and answered all of my questions and as soon as we got to Llantrissant the staff put us all at ease. They welcomed us with open arms. We look forward to returning in the future!!

“Great Vacation” My wife and I recently stayed two nights in unit 341 at the El Taj Oceanfront. This unit was beautiful! The white, sandy beach is literally about 20 steps from the front door. It was clean and very well decorated. The view from the living room looks out past the pool to the ocean. There is a very large private belcony off the master bedroom that offers a quiet spot for coffee in the morning. The staff at El Taj were extremely nice and very accommodating. If you are looking for a very clean, well-kept, relaxing unit that is on the beach, I would highly recommend you stay here.
