The 5-acre forested property -- a delight to explore -- abounds in seasonal wonders including visiting deer, songbirds, owls and woodpeckers. A short 5 minute drive takes you to the picturesque shops and ferry at Mill Bay. Xanada receives our best recommendation.

“2 Night Stay while my daughter having guests at her house” Spent one day shopping at Topanga Norstrom and Norstrom Rack. Nice boutiques and excellent bistros and restaurants in Calabasas. Calabasas were some Hollywood stars live is nearby. Nice place to visit. I enjoyed my stay. Housekeepers were very nice. It included continental breakfast. Very kind. I will stay again. .

“Lovely place and people!” We stayed here for nearly a week and had a lovely visit. First, the location itself is just beautiful. It's near enough to the Falls to get there quickly, but it's not in the midst of all the tourist attractions. It's in a nice, wooded area. Second, it's incredibly well-apportioned. We bought foil to grill on, but Pat had already included everything we could possibly need -- including paper towels, tea bags, tin foil, plates, cups, utensils, soap, movies, etc. And the unit itself is very nice and well laid out as well -- it's a very nice size, with several closets, a bedroom and bathroom, a sitting area, and a kitchenette. Finally, Pat was an incredibly good hostess. She was always very responsive (both when I was trying to make the reservation and after) and helpful. Even when we accidentally set off the fire alarm and requested that she mail back some clothes we'd left, Pat remained very pleasant and professional. She went far above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay a good one. We really and truly appreciated it.

“We are now regulars at Pat's Little Bit of Country” This year will be the third time we have stayed at Pat's Little Bit of Country. My husband and I first stayed at this cute and warm country inn3 years ago and we had a great time. So relaxing and peaceful and away from the traffic and congestion of the tourist area of Niagara Falls, but close enough to drive to the attractions for the day. Only a 15 min drive to the action and then when you have had enough and want to unwind, this serene get away is just around the corner. We enjoyed it so much we returned with our son the following year and again we enjoyed the action, not to far away from this place and visited Crystal Beach as well which is only 20 min drive down the street. We appreciated the use of the pool, bbq and picnic area as well. The 1 bedroom apt came with everything, all you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush of course. Pat provides everything, from tinfoil to cutlery, to pots and plates and towels. There is a nice size flat screen with dvd player and internet service. A Foodland grocery store is only a 5 minute drive down the road with great food to stock the impeccably clean kitchen. The apartment was perfect for all three of us, with it's queen bed and a pull out couch in a separate living area from the bedroom. So we are now officially regulars because we stayed here again this year, again with our son, now 16 years old, This time we stayed in the lower level apartment which is more spacious and just as beautifully decorated. It is just as cozy and clean as the upper level apartment and very bright. The windows are NOT SMALL at all. They are very large windows as a matter a fact and the living area and kitchen gets tons of sunlight. I actually appreciated no window in the bedroom so that the sunlight did not beam on us at 6am in the morning and wake us up. Pat provided us with a cot for our son and he slept just fine in the living room that is also separate from the bedroom. He enjoyed the flat screen tv and dvd player until the wee hours of the morning. The price is amazing for what you get. We searched hotels in the falls and nothing could beat Pat's price and give us everything that this place offers us. Nice and private too. It's attached to a main house but when we were inside it felt like it was just us. It's also nice to know that there is someone close by to ask questions or address any concerns. Super friendly. The pool clean and refreshing. I love Pat's Little Bit of Country because it is close to everything but still tucked away. Very clean and a wonderful retreat for any couple and small family. I totally recommend it !!!

“excellent stay in Nuevo Vallarta” I had the pleasure of staying at Casa Madera for 3 weeks March 1st to 22nd.The best feature is the helpfullness of the landlords, Heather and Kevin. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and are very helpful. The location is quiet , no traffic noise and extremely secure. I will stay there again if the conditions arise.
