“Awesome Cabin!!” My husband and I rented this property for the July 4th weekend. His sister and her husband traveled with us. At first we thought we were going to the end of the Earth, but after finding the cabin we were all very pleased. It was very nice! Clean, spacious, and private. Giving each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. Best of all, Liz, is an amazing hostess, checking in with us daily to be sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this cabin for a nice relaxing weekend.

“We had a very memorable and enjoyable vacation in this cabin!” We just got home from our vacation, and it was great. It's beautiful up there; the cabin is fully equipped, and sooo comfortable! I will definitely recommend it to my friends. It is so worth the five hours driving time. Our five year old grandson enjoyed it very much too. The owner was right; it is a "little piece of heaven", and you just can't get enough! Also, reserving the cabin and the transactions went smoothly, so everything from start to finish was very acceptable.

“Our Tennessee Stay” This was our first visit to TN and it certainly will not be our last. God's Gift cabin was very neat. View from the back breathtaking. Only downfall is that it is very hard to locate. This cabin, however, is very secluded for a very private stay, fully stocked with linen and towels. The owner, Marie Spivey, was very patient when we contacted her to obtain specific directions to cabin as gps lost satellite once in Gatlinburg. This cabin is located near arts/crafts.

“Very Nice and Perfect Location” We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect location close to ski slopes.. tubing and restaurants. We had everything we needed just like home. The cabin was decorated very cute for Christmas. There are tons of games to play and nice front porch. We would love to come back again sometime and stay again sometime.

“True Seclusion and Serenity” My wife and I have been visiting the Great Smoky Mountains since 1960 and have stayed in many cabins. This was the best for location, privacy, and relaxation. We were only a few minutes from hiking, dining, and the Arts & Crafts community. We recommend this property highly.

“Wonderful historic home, beautifully decorated and spacious enough to host many guests.” It was a dream come true to stay in a historical home. The property was tastefully decorated and maintained the feel from an earlier era, but yet had all of the modern conveniences we enjoy today. It was a joy to wind up the driveway each day line by the rock wall to the spacious home that awaited us. The nights were cool enough to doze of to sleep each evening by the warmth of the fire place. And the accommodations and rooms were ample enough to have family and friends as overnight guest without feeling squeezed for space. Further, we hosted several more guests for multiple dinners with ease. The spacious home provides inviting places inside and out for parties to dine and recline. The owner of the home Julie has thought of everything. Can't wait to return.

“My Highest Recomendation” This place is fantastic! We were in town for a family wedding the location, space, sleeping accommodations and even the kitchen were perfect for our needs. We slept 6 people in the space very comfortably and entertained as many as 40 people. Our guests included military generals, US State Department officials, politicians and head of corporations; all of whom were highly complementary of the tasteful decor. We accommodated casual gatherings, formal entertainment, informal drop-ins and at one point we even became the spot where young mothers could allow their babies to nap in relative quiet. The loft was incredibly versatile and seemed like home both for us and our many guests. When not entertaining, we enjoyed the comfort of the loft. I have to add a highly complimentary note on Thomas Hensley, the owner. He was attentive without being overbearing. He checked in with us by phone and email just enough to let us know he was attentive. Otherwise, we were free to attend to our own business.

“Love the mountains” This was our 2nd trip to Gatlinburg & both times we rented a cabin from Mrs. Dorothy. They were both amazing & as advertised. The only recommendation we'd make for this cabin would be to have a washer & dryer. The area & mountain getting to the cabin was nice. We did the Rainbow Falls hike but the internet had varying info on the length of the trail. We started late around 11 am & it was a foggy day no sun. We decided to turn around because we were afraid we'd run out of the little bit of day light we had without any sunshine. We didn't want to be caught out on the trail at night. The scenery was beautiful even with the burnt parts of the trail. Seeing the devastation of the past fire made us realize how horrible of an event that was. Both of our trips have been in the winter, but next time we will try spring or summer to get the hikes in with nicer weather. Downtown Gatlunburg is nice but not our thing.

“Awesome” We had an awesome weekend at the cabin. It was very clean, conveniently located and the perfect spot to gather family and make memories. The bear decor throughout the cabin gave us that Smokey Mtn experience too. I have one suggestion though. There were only one towel per person for the whole weekend which made it hard to enjoy the hot tub then take a shower. I would have gladly brought my own if we were told. Thank you again for the wonderful accommodations. We will return and tell ours friends

“Get away stay” This cabin was beautiful.Supplied great an friendly.Area quite which is just what we wanted.Yet close enough to town an atractions.Thank you for sharing what God has blessed yous with, others(us) lol.

“Much needed rest and relaxation.” The chalet was a lovely, cozy get away, with an amazing view of the Smokey Mountains. Maggie Valley is close to many places, such as Cherokee and asheville. Waynesville is a quaint little town that everyone should visit. I would recommend Maggie Valley to anyone that would like a quiet, relaxing vacation. We were there after many of the Mom and Pop places were closed, but the ones we were able to visit were worth it. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. We definitely will be returning to Maggie Valley and The Chalet in the Valley. Thank you Leisa Munce.

“Perfect - who could ask for more?” My husband, his parents, and I greatly enjoyed our relaxing stay at this beautiful cabin. It was perfect. We fell in love with the photos on Flip Key and the cabin is even more lovely than the photos. The cabin is beautifully & comfortably furnished. It felt like a home away from home. We loved the gas fireplace. It was very easy to operate and gave even more cozy ambiance to the cabin. The cabin is also very clean. The view from the deck & balcony is amazing. This cabin is in an ideal location...close to the activities & locations we enjoy. The owners are very helpful and responsive. Any question that I had was addressed promptly by Laura J. This property greatly exceeded my expectations and has spoiled me. I hope to stay at this cabin again when we return to the area. It is perfect!!

“Vacations are to short” Quiet and peaceful is how I would describe Amazing Grace. Absolutely loved our time here and would love to return some day. Everything was perfect except the WiFi was very slow (probably due to the weather).

“Fun time” The cabin was very nice and clean. Everything you needed was there. The owner was nice and responded very fast. Would definitely book again.

“Absolutely Perfect!!” My group of 15 stayed at the Deer over Labor Day weekend, and the place couldn't have been more perfectly accomodating. The four levels are nice because it allows for privacy and for the early nighters to hit the hay while the late nighters stay up to enjoy the night. The view is undoubtedly the best in the community. In fact, in my opinion, the Deer is the best lodge in the community because it is separated from all the other lodges. Not only was the lodge perfect, but Patti and Earl were awesome to work with in setting up the reservations. They were extremely responsive to email and provided our group with everything that we needed. They also went above and beyond by sending us local deals of area attractions as they became aware of them. We will definitely be coming back to the Deer in the future. Do yourself a favor, don't compromise your group's stay in the Smokeys--book the Dancing Deer.
