“Can't wait to go back!” The house was gorgeous! We went with 2 other couples and 2 teenagers - it was perfect for our group. We loved the decks on different levels - our group was able to spread out nicely in the house. The pictures of the inside of the house don't do it justice - the furnishings were very nice and the house is well stocked with games, beach bags and a cooler. And the beds were very comfy! We also loved how one of the bathrooms had a door to the outside so you didn't bring in a bunch of sand every time you used the bathroom The house was easy to book and the owners were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions pre-trip The beach is lovely. We had a great time beach combing and watching the pelicans. Maria and Bernadino were great. We had them cook dinner for us one night and it was amazing. They set the table for us, cleaned up and packed up leftovers. There was enough food left over for dinner the next night. We loved Tulum. We were in Mexico at the height of spring break, yet we had the beach to ourselves. The kids loved Matinee cenote and we arranged a snorkle/dive trip with the dive shop at the end of the road. 2 people in our group are divers, but the rest of the group wanted to snorkel. They were able to accommodate the entire group and we had a great time

“Celebrated Our 25th Anniversary at Maya Cala!” This villa was perfect for our 25th Anniversary. We took a pontoon boat out on the lake and renewed our wedding vows in the water of the Bacalar lake at sunset. The home is very private, very safe, well stocked kitchen. The lake was so awesome from the home and gardens bloomed everywhere around the home. There are some secret surprises thru out the gardens that are for surprise as you stroll thru them. We seen alot of beautiful birds s! It was awesome being in the wildlife so much as Maya Cala provides. We used bug repellent in the evenings at the lake and that worked fine for us. We swam directly from the home, a great dock and we kayaked alot along the banks of the lake. Great little local towns fun to check out and don't miss a sunset trip on the lake in a boat. Thank you Sally for your allowing us to use your awesome home for our 25th Anniversary.and heard monkeys, never got to see one but sure think they were the ones making noise

“Sandos Playacar is Amazing!” My family - me, my husband and two kids - just returned from an amazing week at the Sandos Playacar in Playa Del Carmen. We had such a fantastic time and LOVED Sandos. Everything was great - the food, the staff, the facilities, the entertainment and more! Sandos is a truly beautiful resort - the hacienda was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The food at the al a carte restaurants was especially good, although we enjoyed the buffet breakfasts very much. The staff bent over backwards to help us with everything. The beach section was beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, beds and hammocks to relax in. A short walk down the beach-2 minutes- brought us to a snorkeling area that was filled with tropical fish. The evening entertainment was top notch! All of our plans were booked through Georgette Flamm who provided detailed information and assistance every step of the way. She provided tons of info about the rooms and the resort, reserved transportation from the airport and gave us other valuable tips about our visit to Sandos. She responded to all of my questions immediately - I really was impressed how easy she made it! I would absolutely recommend Georgette Flamm and Sandos to anyone!!

“Super fabulous, very happy family...” The property and villa is exceptional. Very well decorated and has the best vibe for entertaining. Mimi was our concierge and was very helpful and welcoming. This was a surprise trip for my family. All they knew before hand was cancun airport. I had pre arranged night time chef service. That was a+. we had 15 people who were all accomadated for at ease. Anna Paulo was our main chef. She made beautiful desserts! We also had Martin as a daytime bartender, he made sure everyone had a beverage from the dock to the pool to the garden. Good stuff :) The family enjoyed taking the golf carts into the dolphin area with shops and stores. We rented them for the week. The villa had them ready when we arrived in the driveway. Best thing ever was the night entertainment. Worth every penny . Water drums and fire dancers. 1 hour show. So amazing. You feel the drums and the water color splashing about with heat from the fire ...it's quite impressive, must see! I'm already making plans for the next trip back. We felt safe. Had everything a large group needed. Very accomadating. Playa Del Carmen was pretty close by by taxi. Bring water shoes if you go in the ocean. My next trip will include a tequila tasting at villa for one of the nights and a day trip to the salt caves and everything else the same :) Super Fabulous Vacation @ Hacienda Del Mar!! “A beautiful, large, private home, bring the whole family!” Casa Tortuga was a wonderful place to rest and relax or to come home to after a long day of adventure in and around Tulum. We had 4 adult couples and it was still more space than we needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to cook our own meals and we enjoyed spending time together in the kitchen and main room preparing meals and eating and hanging out. We loved getting to use the ourdoor grill, the kayaks, the hammocks, beach chairs, etc. Gabi and Luis were excellent hosts and made us wonderful breakfasts each morning from local produce in the local styles. She also helped us set up a fishing trip and locate other services we were interested in during our stay. Would highly recommend for a family getaway as there are fun things for everybody to do, whether its hanging out and relaxing on the property or making a short drive to scuba, snorkel, hike ruins, shop, eat/drink, lounge on another beach, fish, the list goes on! Was a great place to rest and rejuvenate and still enjoy some exciting Mexican adventures.

“God's Oasis” My family and I just arrived back from our stay @ Casa Hacienda about a week ago. However the memories and visions of paradise are still so fresh in our minds we still feel as though we are there. Mattias was amazingly helpful right from the start answering all of questions promptly numerous times & really took the time to make sure we understood everything. Greatly appreciated... El Cuyo it self is a very tiny fishing village in what seems like the middle of no ware.. However, it is the essence of beauty and its beaches/water pristine. Only time we saw other people "Tourists" was during the weekend of Easter and it was only for 2 days due to the festival they have their yearly.. Truly an amazing party and glad we were able to experience it. Other than those 2 days the beaches were all ours. Casa Hacienda was perfect for my family as we have two teenage boys and a young daughter. We chose to rent the entire house as it comes with a king bed in one room w attached bath, and another room with 2 twin beds and attached bath. There is aC if it is too hot. Two T.V.'s and DVD players, as well as fully furnished with all cooking/eating materials. The house was perfect in all regards... Truly miss sitting on the front porch in the hammock with a Sol in my hand. Highly recommend renting a car so that you may travel an hr or so in different directions and see the wonders of Yucatan that lie an 1hr or so away. Cenotes, & Pyramids are breathtaking. Remiga & here family are the best... if we had room in our bags I am sure we would have taken them home with us. She took care of every need or question we had and make the best food around. You must try her fish!!! She constantly made us feel like family.. I highly recommend this area and this casa to anyone who is looking for the best beaches without all the people & hustle and bustle. Its ruff, rare & divine, making it a magical and memorable Gem you must experience. Go now!!! The Hargreaves Family.
