“Excellent little getaway” My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. The cabin was beautiful and well kept. The hot tub was very clean. We could hear traffic sometimes but not enough to really be bothered. This is a wonderful place to stay near some great national parks, and right outside the lively town of Helen. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

“Perfect place to get away from it all.” Cozy, comfortable, & clean cabin. Plenty of things to do without leaving the cabin, or within a short drive (pool). If you are looking to get away from the hustle & bustle, this is a perfect place. Unfortunately, it rained most of our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the pond or pool much. But the hot tub & pool table got plenty of use! The kids loved it and are already asking when we can go back!

“Perfect Trip!” We did not travel far from where we are from, but we felt like we had escaped to the most beautiful part of the middle of nowhere. Everything you forgot or might have forgotten was available, and the six of us (8 one night) slept completely comfortably. We have already inquired about returning in summers and winters to come. We were secluded, and the yard was perfect for our endless bocce ball games. Very worth it!

“Loved our stay at the Summit” The Summit is a great get away. It is very private, being at the to of the mountain. The house is beautiful and very clean. It has everything that you need to make your stay pleasant. Everything in the house works. This was our second trip to the house. The owners are great people and a pleasure to work with. We have already rented for our next stay from the same people and will continue to do so as long as we need to rent a cabin.

“Perfect pet-friendly cabin with style and a view!” Location is great. Easy to find and get to. Few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Has all the accomodations for a perfect, relaxing weekend. Spectacular view of the mountains from the front door/inside the cabin/on the deck. Hot tub worked wonders for relaxing and recuperating. Enough room for a small family, two couples, or just the two of you. Liz is a friendly owner.

“Beautiful cozy bungalow, the perfect getaway” This was the PERFECT place to stay! The bungalow itself was cozy and had everything we needed, it was very hard to leave such a beautiful relaxing place. My only regret was not staying a few more nights! “Awesome Cabin!!” My husband and I rented this property for the July 4th weekend. His sister and her husband traveled with us. At first we thought we were going to the end of the Earth, but after finding the cabin we were all very pleased. It was very nice! Clean, spacious, and private. Giving each couple their own bedroom and bathroom. Best of all, Liz, is an amazing hostess, checking in with us daily to be sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this cabin for a nice relaxing weekend.

“Relaxing and rejuvinating” My husband, six month old daughter and I spent the weekend here in May. It was outstanding. Kendall, the owner, was warm and welcoming from the minute we stepped out of the car. She provided us with maps of her property, which you can hike and explore. We especially enjoyed the koi pond and just sitting on the porch swing. The views are amazing from the porch and deck. The cabin is in Fairview, NC which is about 20 minutes away from Asheville. It is the perfect location, far enough away to feel as if you are the only ones around, but close enough to downtown to run in for dinner. You don't have to, however, because there is a restaurant, The Local Joint, about 5 minutes away. They have a variety of local food and organic entrees. Excellent. Kendall is a licensed massage therapist and yoga instructor. We were able to get massages for both my husband and myself, which were fantastic. I also opted to take a private yoga lesson, which was awesome. I am a super-beginner, and she was able to make the class both on my level and enjoyable. We got the "relaxation weekend" which I highly recommend. The massage and yoga class (or sauna treatment) come with the cabin price. There is a hot tub which we were unable to use (because we needed to watch the baby), but looked very inviting. Overall, I would give this vacation spot 5 stars, more if I could!

“Best cabin we have ever stayed in.” Your cabin was perfect. The perfect size for our family. I loved the screened in area to sit out and listen to the stream. It was so peaceful. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was amazing. The only little tiny thing that we found wrong was, there was no charger for the ps3. I imagine someone took it. “Beautiful cabin and view” The drive to the cabin was fairly easy since the road is paved. However, the turn in to the private drive was tricky for our Chrysler Town and Country minivan. We couldn't make it in one turn and had to stop and backup a little then put it back in drive to make the turn. Also, any time we left the cabin we had to backup and put it back in drive a couple of times before we could get turned around. Smaller vehicles will probably not have this problem. The cabin is beautiful with all the large windows and so many gorgeous logs! We loved sitting out on the deck looking at the mountains and listening to the nearby creek. We wished a few more trees had been cut down, but were happy for those that had been. We understand the sun could be a problem since there are no blinds in the kitchen or living room and we had the sun in our eyes every morning. I would recommend some of the small pull down blinds for those windows. The decks are awesome and provide a ton of space, but we wish there had been more furniture on both decks (there is none on the lower level where the hot tub is). The hot tub and sauna were amazing. The upstairs guest bathtub is wonderful, as is the shower downstairs. There needs to be more bath/hand towels and washcloths in all bathrooms. I would recommend towels on the lower level specifically for use with the hot tub/sauna. We had fun playing pool and the table is in great shape. As much as we loved the cabin there was one thing that would keep us from going back...the beds. Not everyone slept well and when you are somewhere for a week rest is important. We realize bed preferences are very individualized and others may find them more comfortable than we did. Lastly, the reservation process and picking up/returning keys was very easy.

“Charming, Cozy, Romantic Getaway!” My husband and I loved our stay in Idyllwild. Boulder Creek Cottage was cozy and beautifully decorated. The home was very clean and was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. They even provided coffee, which we forgot to bring with us. The location was beautiful and private yet only 2 minutes to town. The large deck was perfect for relaxing; Bbq's and star gazing at night. I can tell that the owner, Larry really takes great pride in this beautiful cottage. He was also very wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. “First real family vacation” The cabin is beautiful, very inviting and homely. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Had fun in the game room/basement. Close to North Carolina/Georgia border so you can visit either state. Scenery is beautiful and very quite. Even got a visit from the neighborhood dog, owner leaves dog biscuits in the cabinet for you to give him. Neighbors are friendly but don't come knocking. Just an all round great place!

“Great cabin” I have stayed at East of Paradise with my family for the past three years and we absolutely love it. It's become our home away from home. The cabin is not big, but it is very well maintained and the set up is perfect for small families like mine. We used to stay at hotels before but nothing compares to keeping everyone all under the same roof and be able to cook homemade meals. My daughter loves to play in the backyard, particularly in the play house. My husband and I love relaxing in the hot tub out back. The beds here are both queen. I have back problems but I always sleep confortably in both of these beds. I do wish the homeowner would offer inflatable beds, or sofa beds for the little ones. The kitchen has all the utensils we need to cook meals. My husband and I love cooking and we always take the opportunity here to make a delicious meal whenever we go. We have everything we need there. The cabin is far away enough from the downtown area and all the traffic, but close enough to get to the stores, and the playgrounds within a few minutes. We highly recommend this cabin.
