“Great Place!” My husband and I, had a great time at this condo. It was well maintained and perfect for our family. Having the pool close by on the ground floor was perfect for my kids and Claudia at the reception was incredibly helpful. I really appreciated all the help Tony provided prior to the trip. We referenced his helpful tips and recommendations throughout the trip and it really enhanced our vacation experience. We would definitely stay here again.

“Highly recommended” We recently stayed at Holiday Penthouse condominium and it exceeded all of our expectation. It has modern furniture and tastefully decorated. Not to mentioned the private rooftop with lounge chairs, outdoor shower to cool down and a nice view of the ocean. The condo is centrally located in Playa del Carmen, just two blocks away from Mamitas beach and a block away from 5th Avenue where you will find restaurants, bars, shops and convenient stores. Myrna, the owner, was very helpful assisting us and responded to all our queries promptly. We're looking forward to come back again.

“Pretty Suite, lovely courtyard and great location.” We enjoyed our stay very much. The courtyard is lovely and because this suite is the only one on the ground floor, no one else seems to use it. It was perfect to sit out by the pool or the seating area off the dining room. It was private enough for us but it is an open design with only one shower-not an issue for us either. Small sink and toilet room upstairs. We did feel that the price is a little high. Playa del Carmen seems to be getting more expensive. It is located on a quiet street and we found parking on the side streets and only on the first night, we had to park 6 or so blocks away(it was a Friday evening).

“Loveliest, most relaxing holiday we've had.” We arrived to a beautiful building surrounded by flowers, cactus, trees and scrubs. Our condo had a very private terrace just off the pool and we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee there every morning and wine in the evening. The Condo has everything you would have at home, there are even books in the book shelves. The bed was comfy, with a terrace off the bedroom, so air conditioning wasn't even used. The two bathrooms were a treat, and shower was wonderful.Having an ongoing supply of water was really nice so I made fresh lime water daily to have in the fridge. They thought of everything,a list of suggestions for shopping, restaurants, which we tried them all, and were great, and found new ones, but loved the Pirates" fish restaurant" around the corner to the right, and up the block The Generala, is fairly new, just to the left as you leave the gate in the next block., lovely lady Muriel to greet you Best pizza and pasta just a few blocks toward the beach.and don't forget the ice cream shop. Playa is such a fun place. Then to come home to the Arena Blanca after a day out and be greeted by Miguel, the night security was such a good feeling of total trust that everything would be wonderful in the morning., and it always was!! Nadia, the manager was there for all your requests, Louis, is the reason for the beauty and tranquility, Ester and the girls, make it a true vacation of relaxation. Our condo included everything and a roof top terrace which we both loved. A plunge pool to cool off in, have a beer in and enjoy the sun, and a palapa, with table and chairs, for the shade. A quiet place for just the two of us to sleep, read, suntan, and enjoy the surrounding beauty. We cant' wait to go back, as it was so hard to leave.....They made it an inviting home away from home. Thanks so much Judy and God willing see you next year. (:

“Luxury Condo - perfect location!” I stayed here for 1 week and enjoyed it so much! The location is in the heart of the hotel zone and super close to the 2 best malls available in Cancun. On top of this, the beach is more private than the other establishments along the hotel zone. My family and I mostly went to the pool everyd ay and got snacks and pina colada's at the pool bar. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. As for the actual condo - it was truly everything the seller described it as. No gimmicks or false photos here - it was the real deal and beautiful (which was such a relief)! Believe me - I can be super picky, but this place lived up to and exceeded my expectations. This is the only place I will stay at again in Cancun :)

“Awesome Rooftop Condo in Perfect Playa location!” I had rented a condo one other time in Playa and I have to say the one thing that made this rental better was the personal response of the owner himself. Not only was the condo a great place but the owner made sure that the rental process was just as great. Ron was extremely helpful and supplied us with everything we needed to have the very best vacation experience. I would definitely rent Casa Dorothea again! The location of the condo is in the heart of Playa. Within walking distance to so many places including the Mega grocery store and Walmart. We had a private rooftop which is another huge asset. An awesome experience all around!

“Perfect Home Base” My friend and I stayed at this townhouse in mid-March 2013. Aside from a minor hiccup upon arriving, everything was wonderful. It is located in a private area off the main road so there is no traffic noise. Yet it is in a perfect location to explore all the local sights. The beach is more like a 15-20 min drive away and really not practical to get to on a bicycle. There are a number of fine white sand beaches to visit, though our favorite was Ziggy Beach. You are near the Mayan ruins in Tulum, Muyil, and Coba. The Sian Kan Biosphere reserve is also nearby. The town of Tulum is a sleepy Mexican town by comparison to Cancun or Playa, which still has numerous fine restaurants for dining. The townhouse itself is well appointed (except no TV) and well maintained. We took advantage of the patio for dining all the time. It is a very comfortable house for four people and a bit more of a squeeze for six (having to use the futons in the living room for beds at night. The townhouse is inside a small gated community with a private pool and you will feel very safe. If you are looking for something a bit different and not wanting to stay at a big resort, this would be a fine alternative. You will definitely need a car.

“The patio/deck is unbelievable. Hard to even go out sometimes” Place was great. The patio was a relaxing joy to spend time on. We did not cook in and went out to eat only. More than once we skipped dinner to just relax on the patio with the ocean breeze and lucky for us a full moon dead ahead. The beach club next door was very handy and the food was great. We would go back again.

“Great location for awesome beach vacation!” We were so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of staff at Sunset Fishermen's and especially a huge thank you to Sergio. He was wonderful! The facilities were obviously cared for with pride - everything was clean and properly looked after. Having the pool, lounge, chairs, restaurant and beach all in such close proximity was truly delightful. Leisurely strolls to 5th Ave were possible every evening. Would definitely return to this lovely place next time we are in the area.

“Great Stay in Perfect Location” We stayed for a week in the Martinique Suite and were so happy with the whole experience. Firstly the location is perfect. Right in the heart of Playa with everything you need on your doorstep. The unit is located towards the back, and we weren't disturbed with any noise. We had rented a car and had no problem parking on the street. We met Joe who gave us tips on where to go. He and Francoise were so helpful with the whole process. The Lowdown! - this unit doesn't have an amazing view, (the 2 units above it do) you need to be able to climb 2 sets of stairs to get to it. There is a luggage elevator. The pool is always clean. The internet sometimes goes in and out, worked better in the living room than the bedroom. Skype didn't work for either of us. (we needed it for work otherwise it wouldn't have been a big deal). The furniture is super comfortable, There are lots of novels to read, and great guide books. Bring your own shampoo etc. We were given one set of keys, so if you aren't going out together you need to figure out the best schedule to get back into the building. There isn't an intercom. The AC is controlled with a key to avoid wasting energy when you are not there. Your one set of keys are soldered together onto one keyring, if one person leaves and takes the key the other person cant have the AC on in the unit. A big plus for us was that they provide water in a huge dispenser in the kitchen, We will definitely stay here again and look forward to going back later in the year.
