Description
Rosa Cottage was extended and completely renovated in 2018.
Rosa Cottage is at the end of a narrow lane with open farmland to the South and West. The lane is part of the North Norfolk Coastal path and all that you are liking to see passing the door are walkers, dogs and the occasional vehicle. The house and garden are ideal for guests with children or dogs as the rear of the cottage is enclosed. Not guaranteed for escape prone dogs!
There is a large open plan living area with a full height vaulted ceiling with a sleeping gallery over looking the living area and offering fabulous views over open countryside. There is a glimpse of the sea from here too but I can't call it a sea view!
The living room has a glass apex on both ends and full height bi-fold glass doors on the south facing side opening onto a patio area.
There is a log burner for the colder nights, dining area, kitchen.
Three bath/shower rooms.
Rosa offers four bedrooms -
Kittiwake - a king size bed with ensuite shower room
Dove - a double bed with separate bathroom
Teal - a twin room with separate shower room
Seagull - the fabulous sunset gallery with double bed, lots of natural light but little privacy apart from a curtain and screen as above the living area.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob and extractor, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Behind and to the side of the cottage is a lovely sheltered patio and to the front a sunny south facing patio and lawn. There is ample parking space for several cars. Free Wireless Broadband is included.
Well-behaved children and up to 2 dogs are very welcome. No smoking.

“Fantastic house, so tastefully decorated and designed.”
We hired Rosa Cottage to celebrate my birthday with close family. The house accommodates 8 but we were only 6. The beds were really comfortable. The decor was lovely and the design of the house was amazing. Very well equipped. Situated in a nice quiet corner of Brancaster. We had wonderful weather most of the week and made use of the close distance to the beach, half a mile to the beach, easy walk.The outside seating areas were really nice. Close to some lovely pubs and restaurants. A perfect house for a perfect stay. We would really recommend a stay here.

“Lovely house, good location”
Spent a lovely weekend at Rosa Cottage with my elderly mum, family and dog. Beautiful house- the open plan kitchen/living/dining space is perfect for a big group. Well-equipped, spacious, three bathrooms with a wet-room style shower (handy for my mum), two outdoor seating areas and a bbq. Walking distance to the beach (enormous sandy stretch) but there is also a beach car-park - again handy of transporting the less mobile. Only slight downsides - the mezzanine sleeping area was very warm, although the weather had been exceptionally hot and the fridge was not very cold- not sure if the seal/door was shutting properly. But a lovely place and would thoroughly recommend.

Response from the owner Thank you for your kind comments, I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay and it means a lot to us that you loved being there too. The fridge was set on 4 but we have now changed it to a colder setting, it goes up to 8. The windows have black out blinds which help to keep the room cooler in hot weather. The beach is a fabulous place to be in this lovely hot weather!
