Peaceful, spacious 2 bedroom apartment in one of most sought after leafy streets in prestigious Brunswick conservation area, and just a block from the beach! Everything is on your doorstep yet the street is pleasant and tranquil - best of both worlds!

Parking may be available by prior arrangement (subject to availability). Please check if parking is available before making your booking! Thankyou.

The apartment is a spacious split-level 2 bedroom apartment in a Regency style Grade 2 listed building, comprising

- large king-size bedroom

- smaller bedroom with single/king-size bed (convertible)

- large living/dining room with large sofa which can be converted into spacious single bed, and fully equipped kitchen

- one bathroom with bath and overhead shower

Prices vary seasonally and according to availability and number of guests. Please contact me directly with required dates and number of guests for an accurate quotation and to confirm availability.

Please note the apartment is in a respectful, quiet residential block so strictly no parties or party-like gatherings to be held at the apartment please, and noise to be kept to a minimum between 10pm - 8am.

Getting around

Bus stop approx 30 seconds away at the bottom of the street opposite Co-Op / Norfolk Square with all main bus routes running that way. All buses will take you into town and most on to the Pier/Laines. The No.6 bus will take you pretty much door-to-door from the train station to the flat and back again at the end of your trip. Or if you prefer to take a taxi this will cost you approximately £5-6. If you come by car, there is on street parking available through a combination of pay & display and visitor parking permits which can be provided subject to availability by prior arrangement with the host. The first 2 days' permits are provided free of charge, any additional permits will be charged at £4.50 per day. Please enquire with host.

“Just awesome”

Great flat, very cosy. The location is perfect in a rather quiet street nearby the sea front and not far from the city centre. Totally recommended. And Charlotte is a great host.

Parking can sometimes be tricky in Brighton if you have a large car but I have lived and parked on this street for 5 years and usually manage to find a space on this street or if not, the next one along. There are always spaces nearby but admittedly, if you have a large car, it can take a little back and forth to get parked! I know it can seem intimidating and annoying if you are not used to it so I'm glad it didn't impact on your stay. Thankyou for the feedback on the sofa and chair cushions. The sofa was actually cleaned a month ago but I agree the throw and chair cushions are beginning to look a little worn so I thank you for highlighting this and will look into getting them replaced. “Comfortable regency apartment, centrally located for the beach and shops”

Ideal location for exploring both Brighton and Hove. Only a short walk to the beach and a good selection of shops in the area. Comfortable and clean apartment and well equipped with essentials. Charlotte (the owner) greeted us on arrival. Would definitely recommend the apartment to friends and family. Couple of minor points -no shaver socket in bathroom, hanging space for clothes would have been useful in 2nd bedroom. Also, too many emails and txt from start to finish (from trip advisor and owner) a holiday is to get away from this !

We are putting up hooks for hanging clothes in the second bedroom this month so that won't be a problem from now on. And I'm sorry you felt you received too many emails and texts. The TripAdvisor system unfortunately sends out automated e-mails that I have no control over to my knowledge. However I will look into it further to see if there is anything more I can do about this. I believe I only sent one text message to you the day after you arrived which I do out of courtesy to check you had everything you needed. Other guests have told me in the past that they appreciated this. I suppose different people have different preferences! Response from the owner Thankyou for your review Sharon. I was sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied with your stay. Photographs of all rooms are on the listing, including the second bedroom set up as a king-size bed, which I make very clear takes up most of the floor space in that set-up. It is obviously up to guests to decide whether or not they are happy with this when choosing where to book. I can only assume that for some reason you did not see this prior to booking. I was surprised that you complained of a musty smell when entering the apartment as I myself checked-in your daughter's finance (as you arrived later that evening). There was no musty smell when I checked him in and I have had no reports of this since. I was saddened to see that you gave a rating of only 2 stars based on these things. I have gone to a great deal of trouble and expense to offer an extremely comfortable and pleasant experience to my guests and usually get rave reviews. I am sorry the apartment failed to satisfy on this occasion and wish you the best.
