Sorry to hear that you had difficulty getting to our office, the North Laine area is a nightmare in a car, with all of the one way streets to navigate! Much easier to leave your car at home if possible as once you're at the property, as you say, you are in easy reach of all bars, restaurants and the beach. “Great location in a newly renovated town house. Brill for large groups.”
Perfect location if want to be close to the centre of Brighton town. Although the only view was of the bins in the street so if you like to see the seafront, although the property was a stones throw away you cannot see it. (We could hardly see outside anyway as the windows were so so dirty! I would advise to clean these more often.) The windows were quite stiff to open also. 13 of us stayed in the property which is the reason we chose the property as it was ideal for a large group. Was clean and comfy in terms of towels, bedding and communal areas but the walls were very dirty, lots of marks around the property. Could do with a lick of paint. We also couldn't find a kitchen bin? So we had to leave a bin bag out for rubbish. Overall the property was great for what we were looking for but I think it just needs a bit of TLC. Great having wifi, good lounge/dining space. Impressive hallway entrance in terms of space. I didn't receive the damage deposit back within a week, there was a bank holiday in between but it ended up being almost 2 weeks.
