We are fortunate enough to have an excellent bus system on the Isle. A great smalm cottage in a great location just 7 mins walk from beach, cottage is small but just the right size for two of us, though a minor degree in cliff climbing may be in order to get down to kitchen or up two flights of tight spiral stairs with rope asist to the perfectly sized bedrooms. Response from the owner Dear Simon. Thank you for your comments. I would like to point out that I have advised that the spiral stairs has a rope hand rail and also the stairs are steep, which is very common for these unique fisherman's cottages. I do apologise that you found it cramped but you must take it into consideration that these cottages where built in the 1800's and most people where a lot smaller in those day's and I think the photos show it very clearly. Ps. You forgot to mention the plants in the garden that compliment the pea beach stones. Thank you for your custom. Kind regards. Phil.

Response from the owner Thank you for your positive review. I do apologise about the scaffolding next door, one day and it was up and I knew nothing about it but I did ask not to do any work as this is the high season and they have not been their, which I was very pleased about. Folk week is our busiest week here in Broadstairs and parking is an issue, but once you have found a space on the seafront you are okay, just don't move! The one thing is that we are in a great position for the beaches and pubs/ restaurants and yes you are going to get that crash of bottles especially Folk week when every one is drinking and enjoying the ambience. As far as the ceiling and stairs, well that is the character of the cottage, but I hope it didn't spoil your stay. It was a pleasure having you and thank you for the card. Hope to see you again! Kind regards. Phil.
