Description

Holiday flat (50 sqm) completely renovated and equipped. Is located at 1° floor of a historic building that opens its large Windows on the beautiful Sant'Anna Church. Inside you will find a double bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a large living room (with 2 sofa beds) to relax, watch TV and eat several meals of the day.

The apartment is located in the heart of the old district of Stampace, Cagliari (currently full of bars, pubs, restaurants and nightclubs), a few steps from Piazza Yenne (local night life) and the main shopping streets. The whole area is easily explored on foot and by public transport. The different walks around the city offer the chance to visit the numerous archaeological sites and intrude in other historic districts of Castello, Marina and Villanova.

The apartment is also within easy reach of the Harbour and piazza Matteotti. Here you will find the central train and bus stations (Arst and CTM) through which you can easily reach the beach town (Parker) and the most important beaches in Sardinia. Finally, Piazza Matteotti square part direct connection (bus and train) to and from the airport.

“Location, Location, Location”

Our intent was to situate ourselves in an apartment in the heart of Cagliari's historic district, and Sa Domu Ajaja filled the bill. The apartment is within walking distance to a host of interesting sights: the port, up-scale shopping, terrific restaurants featuring unique Sardinian fare, bus stops to the Island's nearby splendid beaches and the Castello district with its amazing views overlooking the city. The apartment owner worked with us to provide affordable transportation to and from the airport. As well, upon our request, he presented three day-trip options to visit historic sites of interest outside the city. His enthusiasm and knowledge made for a memorable time in our destination choice, Tharros, and, again, the cost was reasonable. The second-floor apartment is reachable by stairs only, but the owner hoisted our heavy bags both up and down. The apartment, itself, is spacious and overlooks a cathedral, literally, complete with bell ringing and a host of religious activities which we enjoyed from the balconies overlooking same. The apartment is clean and basic. Given our long-term stay, pluses for us were the washing machine and a fine grocery store within easy walking distance.

“Fantastic location and great hosts”

I spent a few days in the B&B just around the first days of May. The location is just of the best you can pick, easy to walk to the main piazza in the evening, closed to shops, bars, restaurants and cafes but quiet in the evenings. The attention to detail Alessandra and Andrea put in preparing our breakfast and all the ideas they gave us were just priceless. I can't wait to stay with them again.
