“Excellent house in beautiful surrounding” The house is well equiped, very clean and is located in a beautiful surrounding. The view from the terrace to the mountains is excellent. Because the house is lonesome it is very quiet and in the evening some animals are visiting the garden (fox, cat, gecko, ...). The hirer are very nice and cooperative. You are getting some very helpful tips about the island which you won't find in a travel guide. The property is really huge and with hammock and a rock to climb a paradise for children, too. Above the rock the view is even more fantastic. I would come back at any time.
“Relaxing sea vacations” Nice to stay, a little far from center of the village, car is necessary, but everything ok, many nice beaches around, cheap vacation and quietness in Budoni walking in the evening with some events in mid summer; fair relationships with owners...
Laying closer to the African continent than the Italian mainland, Sardinia is rich with lush, semitropical landscapes and stunning pastoral scenes of groves and orchards. Despite its warm climate, pristine coastline and rugged natural beauty, Sardinia isn't overrun by tourism and is an excellent place to enjoy an authentic Italian holiday. The archipelago is also ideal for island-hopping, and the smaller surrounding islands make for great day trips on the smooth waters of the Mediterranean.
If you're visiting Sardinia, here are some suggestions for places to visit:
Alghero: With a strong Catalan influence in its architecture, culture, and history, Alghero is one of the most unique cities in Sardinia.
Bosa: Situated in the western part of Sardinia, Bosa is widely considered the most beautiful and picturesque town in the region.
Santa Teresa di Gallura: If you're going to spend time in one of Sardinia's coastal resort areas, Santa Teresa di Gallura offers a more authentic, less commercial experience than Costa Smeralda.
Cagliari: This one-of-a-kind city manages to combine fascinating historical attractions and beautiful architecture with a cosmopolitan feel despite its relatively small size.
The "nuraghi": These curious prehistoric stone fortresses dot the Sardinian landscape and have yet to yield their mysteries to investigators. They are concentrated around beautifully preserved Bronze Age-era settlements, making for a fascinating look into the area's long history of human habitation.
Staying in a vacation rental during your Sardinian holiday provides a more authentic and relaxing holiday experience. Rentals offer visitors a lot more space and privacy than hotels, and they are beautifully furnished with all the amenities of home. Whether you're on a romantic getaway, traveling with your family, or part of a group holiday, a vacation rental makes an ideal choice.
Continue your Italian holiday by heading to neighboring Sicily, a Mediterranean island with a culture all its own. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a boat or plane to nearby Tunisia in northern Africa for a truly unique vacation experience.

Villa La GJANDA, Stunning vew costa Smeralda. # save 15% 04/11 Jun
Stunningly location, lovely Villa, great host
This is a lovely villa set in a great location. Up in the hills it is very peaceful with amazing views. It is very easy to get to and is in easy reach of many wonderful beaches. You can go to a different beach everyday, the only difficulty is which one to choose! The villa is 30-40 minutes drive to Olbia airport and is situated close to Abbiadori which has a number of supermarkets, good restaurants and a delicious bakery for morning coffee and croissants.
The villa was very clean and well equipped and plenty big enough for our group of six adults. The pool was lovely to have when we needed to jump in to cool down after a hot day on the beach. There is bbq on the large terrace so we could cook dinner and watch the stars, Jupiter, Saturn and the moon rise over the mountains.
Ennio was a great host and came up with great suggestions for dinner and also helped us rent a boat for the day.
Can't wait to come back.
Thank you Ennio for making our stay so easy. …

Sunny-house
Nice apartment outside the center
Clean apartment with a grocery store just around the corner. The shower could use an update though, but the rest is very nice. Private gated parking was great. It was about a 15 min walk into the center of Olbia. The neighborhood felt safe enough to walk at night. I wish we would have asked for restaurant recommendations from the owners because Trip Advisor mislead is several times and we were disappointed in many of our restaurant choices. Angelo and his wife were excellent hosts and took care of each small need we had including getting us an iron and ironing board when we needed it. 5* hosts for sure! …

Sardinia sea vacation rental in Budoni
Great appartement in rural Sardinia
Since we planed our first holiday with our 9 month old son, I had a lot of questions, which Marco, the owner of the appartment, answered patiently within a few hours. He provided us with a babybed and a babychair and we had also the opportunity to get a stroller from him.
As we arrived, Marco and his wife described everything to us. The appartment was clean and very spacious. Everyhing was as described some things even better.
The appartment is situated in a small village near Budoni. It's great to have Sardinian neighbours, cats and sheps next to our property.
You need a car, but it's ony 10 minutes and you arrive at in Budoni center, where you find supermarkets, restaurants etc. The beach is also great. Our favourite was baia sant'anna, where you can relax under pine trees and watch the sea.
We enjoyed our trip and would highly recomend this appartement. Thanks a lot. …

LUXURY VILLA WITH POOL - WIFI
Fantastic location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks stay in Villa Lusso, beautiful and have everything that you need to make your stay wonderful except wifi or the cable TV! That did not meet the children’s expectations but the pool was superb and the garden well tended. The kitchen could have had a better selection of utensils but we managed to cook for 5. Large bedrooms and comfortable beds, the location is beautiful. …
