“Breathtaking, Spectacular views and a sense of peacefulness.” Our first time, so didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival at the train, it was easy to find the arbaspaa office. The staff was pleasant and the young man who walked us to our room was pleasant and very helpful with our luggage. The apartment was what we expected from the description and photos that were emailed to us. Spacious, comfortable, clean. The apartment kitchen was great and the washing machine was useful. This apartment requires walking up steep hills and lots of steps. Just when you think there can't be anymore steps, there are another lot. When you reach the apartment, the steep walk and steps are all forgotten. What you see from the bedroom windows and balcony cannot be described, words like spectacular or awesome will give you an idea. The restaurants are of high standard and just below the apartment is Trattoria dal Billy which has amazing food. We loved the tranquillity and the fact that it was either a quick train ride to the other villages or a quick ferry ride.

“Beautiful apartment for ocean and hiking enjoyment” My friend and I stayed at IL patio for 5 nights; it was a fantastic stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The breeze from the sea at night kept us cool with the windows open. The apt. was located up some stairs, but it was a gorgeous view. Piera was a gracious hostess and gave us good advice about hiking and dining. This location also has close access to the best swimming in Cinque Terre!

“Great spot for an atmospheric holiday.” We enjoyed staying at the apartment. Great spot overlooking the harbour so we could watch it progressively turn from a millpond into a washing machine as the weather deteriorated! The apartment was comfortable and the only downside was that with the rain, we had trouble getting our washing dry. Couldn't see a clothes horse for hanging it inside -something that would be useful. Manarola and the other villages are very sweet and the train is excellent. The hills and steps were good for our fitness! We were disappointed that the coastal walkways were all closed and we really hope that the rockfall issues can be sorted as walking is the main reason many people visit the area.

“Fabulous place!” We loved our stay in Riomaggiore, it's such a quaint little town, the atmosphere and people are wonderful. It's a great base to explore the Cinque Terre and even Pisa and Portofino. The apartment was perfect. Great location with a wonderful little balcony overlooking the sea, watching the sunset. It was clean and had all we needed. Sabrina was a great help in arranging the accomodation. Great value.

“Great apartment - Definitely Recommend” We stayed here for three nights during a whirl wind tour of Italy. The apartment was spectacular with unbelievable views of the entire town of Manarola. The apartment was clean and well kept. I would definitel stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It was pretty high up in the town, we had to walk up and down a number of stairs, but it was nothing unusual for the town. Everything that wasn't on the main strip required walking up a fair number of stairs.
