“Wonderful experience” Although our hosts were not present on the property--they live in the main house nearby--this cabin was perfect for a getaway near the Mendocino Coast. There are beautiful gardens, less fog than on the coast, and total tranquility. It is and a well-appointed rental with living room, bedroom, and kitchenette. We highly recommend it.

“Charming, Cozy, Romantic Getaway!” My husband and I loved our stay in Idyllwild. Boulder Creek Cottage was cozy and beautifully decorated. The home was very clean and was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. They even provided coffee, which we forgot to bring with us. The location was beautiful and private yet only 2 minutes to town. The large deck was perfect for relaxing; Bbq's and star gazing at night. I can tell that the owner, Larry really takes great pride in this beautiful cottage. He was also very wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions promptly. “Breathtaking Tennis Estate” This estate is truly amazing. It has had everything I was looking for. I went here with my family and friends. We all had an amazing time. It has something for everyone. My friends and I throughly enjoyed the tennis court. We played so much I think I still have blisters on my feet lol. The tennis court isn't the only thing played on it. The kids loved riding bike, playing catch, basketball, tag, among other games they played. There is also a great playground adjacent to the tennis court in the grass. The kids also loved jumping on the trampoline. This estate also has a pool. It is a great pool just to lounge in or if you have kids there is no deep end which we all liked. No matter where you are this place has amazing views. You have views of the country side along with views overlooking San Diego. We really loved that every night we saw hot air balloons in the sunset sky. Also in the summer months Sea World shoots off fireworks which we could see in the horizon on clear nights. Although there are many restaurants near by. This estate has an amazing gourmet kitchen. There were a few nights we decided to not go out and went to a local grocery store a mile away to pick up food to cook which was very nice. \ Bob is the best host. Not only is he very funny and easy to get along with. He is also very helpful if you ever need anything just text or call him. He is also very knowledgable about things to do, see, restaurants, beaches, shopping, etc. This house is also one level which is good if you have anyone elderly or young children staying with you. This is which the exception of the stairs going down to the pool, tennis court, and playground. Also, there is an apartment above the garage that you need to climb stairs to get to. This apartment is also great. It is a one bedroom with full kitchen, bathroom, and living room. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you love Tennis or have kids.

“Amazing!” My family stayed at this house for a week in July. It was great! The house was in a good location, less than a 10 min walk to the beautiful beach. Restaurants and coffee shops were in easy walking distance. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and spices. The TV and entertainment unit were amazing, very high tech but easy to use. There was a cute front yard and a nice little back yard with patio furniture and a BBQ. There were bikes to use as well. The owner was amazing! Very easy to get in contact with and very hospitable. He even provided us with a playpen for our son. If we are ever in Long Beach again we would definitely stay here.

“Beautiful Place in a Beautiful Place!” Gorgeous, welcoming home, with tons of room and rooms! Easy, relaxed time was had by all, quiet and peaceful, lots of walking, hiking, biking (bikes provided!! thank you). Close to lake, Stateline activities. Couldn't have had a better time there. Owners are really nice people you can tell!

“Good Stuff!” This place was perfect for us. ~2 adults and 3 kids in the master (2 kids in the closet Queen bed, and the baby in a pack n play & still tons of room) ~2 adults in the 2nd bedroom down stairs with their 2 kids in the closet Queen bed. ~3rd adult in the Queen in the loft ~4th adult babysitter in the bed in the loft next to the bunk beds, We had tons of room. It was nice. Enjoyed eating at the long table, and partying at the large island. Did a night at the pool with the kids and relaxed at the Hot Tub. It was nice as they had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed, and even had spices, salt and pepper, so we didn't have to buy it to use it once. My only suggestion would be to possibly place a humidifier in each room, so we would have the option of running some moisture in the room. The air is so dry, and after being wind chapped on the mountain, we ran the heater a lot, so it made it even worse. We walked to the Village and had dinner and drinks multiple time a day. Its literly that close. Maybe 80 steps... Amazing. We actually ended up calling them and staying a 3rd night, and they give a discount if you extend your stay. I would deff stay there again, and next trip up there, we will hopefully be able to stay there again!!!

“Perfect” Our family stayed here for a weekend in September and thoroughly enjoyed it! We live in Oxnard and needed a place for family visiting from out of town. The Dunes Hideaway was the perfect solution for us! The beach is close and the home is comfortable and clean! There are bikes for adults and toys for children. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is space for everyone! Jana has thought of everything you could possibly need and has it waiting for you. She is easy to work with and made the whole process simple, Our family will stay here again and again. The Dunes is set up with everything you need, Just bring yourself and desire for fun or relaxation, it's all close by. A book with menus from nearby restaurants and suggestions for local activities has been compiled by the owner and is a great resource if you choose to go out. The open concept kitchen makes staying at home tempting. A nice deck for BBQ-ing is a great bonus! You will love how easy it is to stay at the Dunes Hideaway!

“A very nice and convenient home” This house is very well kept and has a good deal to it. Besides the basics (TV, table, beds, blankets, etc.), the kitchen is a grand place for anyone looking to cook. There are plenty of pans, pots, utensils, and even a rack filled with different spices (oregano, basil, etc.). It was quite amazing. The house itself looks and feels very homely, and I had a great time. Fits a group of 10 people quite nicely and never felt too cramped. Furthermore, close to a good deal of restaurants and a Grocery Outlet! The owner of the place, Suzanne, is also very easy to get in contact with and is very friendly. She does a great job of letting you know how the process should proceed, and she made the experience all the more comforting. Overall, a great home and highly recommended!

“Paridise In Big Bear” My husband and I went to the Chalet with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Kiyoe was very welcoming. The place was very clean and homey. “Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.
