“OMG!!!! This was the Best House - We could not ask for better” Not enough words to say how great and the owners were (WOW) - pick them - Best of the Best First of all they were so nice to make sure we knew how to get to them giving us in's and outs to get to them. 2nd they were there to show us around to make sure we knew everything. 3rd they have everything you could think of to make it a great trip 4th this house is so big open with a great view of the water fall that my family loved 5th it was the best bed I have slept in 6th the owner deigned it and built it himself and its like a dream house They even loaned us fishing poles for my daughter and I could use if we had time. Yelena and Gene we thank you for all you did and do and we look forward to staying with you for years to come TO All people reading this Stop reading and book this before someone else does.. “Wonderful experience” Although our hosts were not present on the property--they live in the main house nearby--this cabin was perfect for a getaway near the Mendocino Coast. There are beautiful gardens, less fog than on the coast, and total tranquility. It is and a well-appointed rental with living room, bedroom, and kitchenette. We highly recommend it.

“Perfect! - We will be back!!” The condo was more beautiful than the pictures! What a great haven for my husband and I and our four teenagers. The kids loved the pool & beach. We loved the kitchen/living area. It was well stocked, beautifully done and a wonderful place to call home for a week. The convenience of the washer & dryer cannot be overstated with the kids. I also had wifi and the desk with the computer station so I could keep connected to my office - a necessity. Thank you Gus!

“Fantastic Home, Fantastic area!!!” It was hard to leave our week at Sun and Strands and we can't wait to go back! The home is lovely, the views are fantastic, and the area has a great feel. But renting from Vida was the start of a great experience! She is the most wonderful host. She takes great pride in her beach house and sincerely wants people to have a great time and enjoy their vacation. The accommodations are as described: upscale and well put together. Everything we needed was there, from appliances to beach chairs. Everything was easy. The views (especially the sunsets) are spectacular. There is an easy walk to the main drag to grab a meal or coffee. The beach was a little further to walk to, but the funicular helps if you need it and once down there, it is one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to -- and I've been to many. The harbor is just a few minutes away and the drive to Disney wasn't bad either. We expected to have a great time, it was a vacation. But we didn't expect to fall in love with the area and visit a place to which we cannot wait to return. Thank you, Vida! We'll surely see you soon!

“Relaxing and Comfortable Experience” Our family stayed at the Lovely Garden House and just had the best time. To watch our kids play in the beautiful backyard and be able to relax in the cabana under a the palm tree's really made the recooperation process incredibly easy after long days at Disneyland. The spa was great and the kitchen was awesome for framily dinners and a great gathering place. All in all we were so happy here and when we had question's about the area or anything at all, the owner was always available and ready to assist with dinner suggestions and great beaches near by. We will stay here agian when we return next year. Thanks again for making our Vacation so memorable, The Odett's.

“Good Stuff!” This place was perfect for us. ~2 adults and 3 kids in the master (2 kids in the closet Queen bed, and the baby in a pack n play & still tons of room) ~2 adults in the 2nd bedroom down stairs with their 2 kids in the closet Queen bed. ~3rd adult in the Queen in the loft ~4th adult babysitter in the bed in the loft next to the bunk beds, We had tons of room. It was nice. Enjoyed eating at the long table, and partying at the large island. Did a night at the pool with the kids and relaxed at the Hot Tub. It was nice as they had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed, and even had spices, salt and pepper, so we didn't have to buy it to use it once. My only suggestion would be to possibly place a humidifier in each room, so we would have the option of running some moisture in the room. The air is so dry, and after being wind chapped on the mountain, we ran the heater a lot, so it made it even worse. We walked to the Village and had dinner and drinks multiple time a day. Its literly that close. Maybe 80 steps... Amazing. We actually ended up calling them and staying a 3rd night, and they give a discount if you extend your stay. I would deff stay there again, and next trip up there, we will hopefully be able to stay there again!!!
