“Lovely refurbished property with great location” My family and I wanted to visit Yosemite with friends who were visiting. The cost of hotel rooms in the Valley was excessive when compared to renting a property for the weekend so we chose Yosemite Hideaway. Upon arrival we were very pleased to note how clean the property was and how well the refurbishment had gone. The pictures do not do the place justice. It was perfect for our needs 2 young children and 4 adults. The location is excellent being very close to Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove. Please bear in mind that the lcoation is excellent for the road to Glacier Point but this road is closed in Winter by the National Park Service. Please bear in mind that the property is located at the top of quite a few wooden steps and the owners advised us to bring winter chains for the car and our shoes! We did not need them but best to go prepared.

“OMG!!!! This was the Best House - We could not ask for better” Not enough words to say how great and the owners were (WOW) - pick them - Best of the Best First of all they were so nice to make sure we knew how to get to them giving us in's and outs to get to them. 2nd they were there to show us around to make sure we knew everything. 3rd they have everything you could think of to make it a great trip 4th this house is so big open with a great view of the water fall that my family loved 5th it was the best bed I have slept in 6th the owner deigned it and built it himself and its like a dream house They even loaned us fishing poles for my daughter and I could use if we had time. Yelena and Gene we thank you for all you did and do and we look forward to staying with you for years to come TO All people reading this Stop reading and book this before someone else does.. “Awesome oceanside accomodations!” We had a wonderful stay in Encinitas at 180 Neptune. It was perfect for our week long getaway. Waking and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was awesome. Plenty of room, great neighbors, comfy beds, all the amenities of home and a view that can't be beat! We are repeat guests and we will definitely be back!

“Breathtaking” The view is simply breathtaking. The home was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for entertaining and my kids loved swimming in the heated pool! The home could use a little updating (ie. sliding doors, decor) but we would be happy to return to this residence.

“Beautiful condo on beach front” The layout of this condo is perfect for a family of 6 or 7. Each room has its private bathroom. Well equipped, beautiful deck with the pool and the jacuzzi. Very clean. Well located between la and Sandiego.

“Fabuuulous!” My family and I stay at this great 'house'to celebrate my husband's birthday. It could not have been a better place for all of us to do this. Everything in the house was there for us to partake - only thing missing was some good dish towels, but I was prepared for that (carried my own). Not much I can add to fabuuuloous!

“Weekend Get-away” My husband and I really enjoyed our stay for a long weekend. The view was wonderful and the whole experience was so relaxing. This place completely fulfilled our wishes, one of them mainly to be able to sleep with the waves at night. Coming from Houston, this is unheard of...we slept with the windows and sliding door open, and we enjoyed sleeping and waking up to the waves. We enjoyed the balcony overseeing the ocean. Tim and Kathy were wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating, very friendly, and available when needed. This was the perfect size for us and the perfect location. We really enjoyed OB and would definitely consider staying here again! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and providing an unforgettable experience for us!

“Good Stuff!” This place was perfect for us. ~2 adults and 3 kids in the master (2 kids in the closet Queen bed, and the baby in a pack n play & still tons of room) ~2 adults in the 2nd bedroom down stairs with their 2 kids in the closet Queen bed. ~3rd adult in the Queen in the loft ~4th adult babysitter in the bed in the loft next to the bunk beds, We had tons of room. It was nice. Enjoyed eating at the long table, and partying at the large island. Did a night at the pool with the kids and relaxed at the Hot Tub. It was nice as they had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed, and even had spices, salt and pepper, so we didn't have to buy it to use it once. My only suggestion would be to possibly place a humidifier in each room, so we would have the option of running some moisture in the room. The air is so dry, and after being wind chapped on the mountain, we ran the heater a lot, so it made it even worse. We walked to the Village and had dinner and drinks multiple time a day. Its literly that close. Maybe 80 steps... Amazing. We actually ended up calling them and staying a 3rd night, and they give a discount if you extend your stay. I would deff stay there again, and next trip up there, we will hopefully be able to stay there again!!!

“Loved the River House” Very relaxing place to stay and loved the Smith River being so close! The house is very cozy and rustic and unbelievably well stocked! We will definitely keep this home in mind if visiting the Crescent City area again!

“Fantastic” From the moment I booked, the service, response was fantastic. The property had EVERYTHING. Very clean, and well equipped. Comfy beds, plenty of linen. In a secure gated complex.
