“A wonderful time with all if iur siblings in a beautiful setting” Our family was looking for a get-away for a long weekend, to spend together and enjoy each others company. We've list a brother and sister and wanted to just celebrate our family. The Roost was a perfect setting for that. We walked, played games around the dining room table, cookedesla together and listened to music all weekend. It was our "Big Chill" weekend. It was just what we had hoped for. Lots of room for all. Very comfortable furnishings all around. Beautifully decorated.

“Perfect Place for a Railroad History Buff” If you are a train buff, don't you want to try the incredible experience of staying in a caboose? The restored caboose has many amenities including a kitchenette, deck with a barbecue, beautiful surroundings, DVD player and tv, and a lovely family as hosts. “Good Stuff!” This place was perfect for us. ~2 adults and 3 kids in the master (2 kids in the closet Queen bed, and the baby in a pack n play & still tons of room) ~2 adults in the 2nd bedroom down stairs with their 2 kids in the closet Queen bed. ~3rd adult in the Queen in the loft ~4th adult babysitter in the bed in the loft next to the bunk beds, We had tons of room. It was nice. Enjoyed eating at the long table, and partying at the large island. Did a night at the pool with the kids and relaxed at the Hot Tub. It was nice as they had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed, and even had spices, salt and pepper, so we didn't have to buy it to use it once. My only suggestion would be to possibly place a humidifier in each room, so we would have the option of running some moisture in the room. The air is so dry, and after being wind chapped on the mountain, we ran the heater a lot, so it made it even worse. We walked to the Village and had dinner and drinks multiple time a day. Its literly that close. Maybe 80 steps... Amazing. We actually ended up calling them and staying a 3rd night, and they give a discount if you extend your stay. I would deff stay there again, and next trip up there, we will hopefully be able to stay there again!!!

“Great place to stay” Had a great stay here. We love Aptos. Quiet central location but so much happening on the beach. I swam with dolphins! Rental is 100 percent furnished with 100percent of everything you need. All is clean and perfectly furnished and comfortable for your beach getaway. Teenagers can walk everywhere and stay busy including great ice cream. Aquarium passes are an $80 value and a thoughtful and generous touch. The owners are lovely people.

“Great cabin” I have stayed at East of Paradise with my family for the past three years and we absolutely love it. It's become our home away from home. The cabin is not big, but it is very well maintained and the set up is perfect for small families like mine. We used to stay at hotels before but nothing compares to keeping everyone all under the same roof and be able to cook homemade meals. My daughter loves to play in the backyard, particularly in the play house. My husband and I love relaxing in the hot tub out back. The beds here are both queen. I have back problems but I always sleep confortably in both of these beds. I do wish the homeowner would offer inflatable beds, or sofa beds for the little ones. The kitchen has all the utensils we need to cook meals. My husband and I love cooking and we always take the opportunity here to make a delicious meal whenever we go. We have everything we need there. The cabin is far away enough from the downtown area and all the traffic, but close enough to get to the stores, and the playgrounds within a few minutes. We highly recommend this cabin.

“perfect” We had an amazing time and hope to return back one day. It was a great place for our family of 5. Enought private space, seperate showers, great eating area and perfect location in town. We were close in walking distance to resturant and driving distance to a grociery store. The Smiths are great people to work with and very friendly to have as neighbors ;). My son still talks about the house and the deer. Thank you for making great memories for my family!

“Breezy” We had a blast here , everything was organized and well thought out . Everything was labeled with pictures . We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family . We normally come with a bigger group and stay at snowflower #24 but if you have a smaller group this is the one to rent you won’t be disappointed trust me Don’t forget the views !

“Serene” What a gorgeous area! The house, while being a bit older, has everything you need and then some. Very comfortable! Enjoyed BBQ on the deck with beautiful trees all around. Also loved sitting out on the deck at night and watching the stars. Who knew there was so much to do around there? We enjoyed hiking at the falls, walking around the mill pond, swimming the pond, even saw the Graeagle bear! July is a great time to visit, can't wait to go back in the winter.

“Fantastic weekend in lake arrowhead!” We had a wonderful time in arrowhead at this cabin with a group of friends. The house was huge, in wonderful shape, and the owners were on call as soon as we got there for any questions. The only issue we had was that the ipod hookup didn't work, but the owners were very attentive in helping us configure a different music system. Overall, awesome. Bring your own ipod speakers, and if it is snowing bring tire chains or they won't let you drive up (we had a few guests who got stuck). We would 100% go back to this house! Perfect weekend!

“A warm,comfortable stay in a beautiful neighbourhood” Our stay at Nbhh was wonderful - truly a home away from home! Terry was like family and did all she could to ensure we had a warm and comfortable experience in every way. She is a great resource and her recommendations regarding all our needs were spot on. Her charming home is located in a beautiful neighbourhood, it was quiet and restful but also has convenient access to UC Berkeley and the Bart.We will certainly be back - it was all I expected and more!

“Steve's place was very, very welcoming” Steve's place was perfect. Not only was it clean and comfortable, it was very, very welcoming. Steve left a lot of guides and tips that made it easy for us to plan out our days at Mammoth Lakes and find good restaurants at night. The hot tub and pool were also great after a day of long hikes! It was also our first time at Mammoth Lakes and booking online, and Steve was very patient and kind to us during the process. I definitely would recommend his place, and Mammoth Lakes, to anyone interested.

“Wonderful Place” We went as a family in the beginning of summer for a few days away. Everything was as described. The dining area was perfect to fit all of us together for a family dinner. The deck is perfect to sit and relax with a great view of lake. Everything you need for a BBQ was provided. The living room has a large fireplace , which we used even in the summer! The dock was a little bit of a walk, but well worth it. It is right on the lake with a table to sit and enjoy the lake. The owner was very accessible for any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely rent the place again! Very reasonable for a home so close to lake.

“Great time in Westwood” We had a wonderful time away, in this area. The home has the warm, nostalgic feel of home: modest and welcoming. Fishing 10 min away under a footbridge, or drive 20 min to the Feather River, where we pulled in gorgeous trout. The very best pizza ever is walking distance from the house, as is ice cream favorites in nearby Chester. Loved our time there & look forward to returning!

“The perfect get away!” We were looking for a place to escape the city and found this perfect cabin in Lake arrowhead. So many places are either very modern (not much of a country feel) or too cabin like (very uncomfortable). This cabin is the best of both worlds. It has all the comforts and space you would want and has an authentic cabin feel to it. Although it is so conveniently located by the village, when you are inside you feel miles away from everything. The bedrooms are a nice size so a whole family can feel they have room without being cramped. Great fireplace, Tv's and cozy furniture to snuggle up with a good book or chat with friends. The area is great with a lot to do. There are nice walks, the lake, boating and heaps of down time. You can easily walk for a bite to eat, get groceries, or just look around a local store. A short drive away is a movie theater and even more stores and restaurants. So look no further, this is the best you will find. I would highly recommend it.

“Amazing!!” Great place! The board games had us entertained all night! And the Disney movie selections were amazing for movie night. The house was very spacious. And the owner was quick to reply with any questions regarding our stay. Will want to go back maybe in the spring next time.
