Description
Villa Tanaro is a stone villa that sits alone among the rural fields of the Tanaro Valley. It's divided into three apartments with a shared garden. There's ample parking, ping pong and BBQ. The apartment is 60 meters squared with two bedrooms, large bath and modern kitchen with eating area. There's a private balcony off the kitchen with a view of the Cave of the Saracens.
The garden is a great place to eat, dream, read, relax and watch the night sky. Owners live on site with two affectionate dogs. We are here to assist you with your holiday but are very conscious of our guests' privacy.

Recently renovated and decorated to reflect the atmosphere of the surrounding forest. Modern kitchen with all you need for cooking, no dining room, just the large eating bar seen in the photos. There is no actual living area but the yellow bedroom, called the forest room is quite large. If bringing your own sheets, both double beds have duvets so bring a duvet cover. Otherwise we rent linens. We can offer some storage in the garage for skis or outdoor gear. If you're a rock climber bring your climbing shoes!

“zwischen Bergen und Meer”
Villa Tanaro liegt sehr schön und ist ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren entlang des Flusses oder in die Bergen und Ausflüge in die Umgebung oder ans Meer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und bei unseren Gastgebern stets willkommen gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Vom Cole Caprauna oberhalb des Hauses kann man auf der einen Seite bis ans Meer schauen auf der anderen Seite hat man einen grandiosen Blick in die Seealpen, die im Mai noch schneebedeckt waren.

“Comfortable and beautiful home with very friendly hosts”
Villa Tanaro is an excellent starting point for walking in the beautiful mountains of the Ligurian and the Sea Alps. It's also possible explore the coast or to spend a day at the sea. In Ormea you will find all you need for your daily demands. The apartment is very cosy, clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with all what you need. Anna and Matteo are very helpful to give advicesfor further activities. The dogs are very friendly.

“Fantastic Apartment in beautiful, remote, unspoilt Italy.”
We loved our holiday at Villa Tanaro. We stayed with 3 kids and there was plenty of space. The apartment is beautiful, very well equipped and clean. We had a very warm welcome and help from the owners to find our way around and explore the area. Bikes to hire on sight was helpful, fantastic mountain trails and gorgeous river lagoons to swim and jump in. Also - less than an hour's drive to the mediterranean meant we could mix realxed days lying on the beach with active days hiking, cycling, trying our hand at rock climbing and pony trekking in the mountains. Fantastic weather a few degrees cooler than the coast due to the altitude made for the perfect temperature. This holiday was superb value for money and we would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Anna and Matteo for making us so welcome.
