The houses offers excellent living conditions for every season. In winter, it is especially cozy to sit by the fireplace, enjoying the warmth, and gazing out across the water. We offer every watersports activities from kayaking to hobie 16 catamaran sailing, Hobie Islnad Adventure Paddle/Sailing Trimaran up to 38 foot Catamaran with kojies for accomodation of 6 people for day cruising or longer.

We're often asked about mosquitoes. The seaside breeze drives the pesky beasts away. It is also to be noted that all houses have the luxury of window screens and sliding screen doors that can be closed. In the summer, the temperatures vary between 20-28 degrees Celsius in the day, and 12-14 degrees during the night. Near the coast, the wind can get a little brisk, so it is recommended to take a sweater along. In spring and fall the temperatures are a comfortable 15-18 degrees. With an average snowfall of 200cm, the island and the northern part of Nova Scotia offer good conditions for winter sports.

Winter dream: Cape Breton, because of the Highlands, has a real winter, especially in comparison to the southwest of Nova Scotia Island.
