"The Maisonette" backs onto the grounds of Cardiff Castle and the famous Swalec Stadium Cricket Ground. In the summer you can sit out in the terraced garden sipping a glass of something cool while listening to the sound of wood on wood. You are also just a pleasant 10 minute walk through the grounds of Cardiff Castle to the Wales Millennium Stadium home to Welsh rugby and an abundance of shops and restaurants (now including John Lewis and Jamie's). A quick hop on the Cardiff Bay Bus or Aquabus takes you to the coastal activities of the Marina or a show at the fantastic Wales Millenium Centre."The Maisonette" is a 3 bedroom duplex apartment located in the up market and fashionable area of Pontcanna with its street cafes, restaurants, designer shops and in easy walking distance of Cardiff City Centre. Situated in a quiet, converted Victorian property over two floors with private garden and parking . On the ground floor the property has a Shower room with a double sized rain flow shower & WC, a comfortable lounge with 2 sofas and tub chairs, 40" flat screen TV/DVD, a large, light, spacious kitchen with dining facilities and patio doors leading to a private terraced garden with table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a full size Fridge/Freezer, hob, oven, microwave and washing machine/dryer. The first floor has 3 bedrooms FOR 6 GUESTS; one king size (can be twin if required and booked in advance ) plus a further two double bedrooms. The bathroom has an L shaped bath with an additional mixer shower/enclosure over the bath. There is full central heating making for cosy stays in the autumn/winter. Linen is provided including bath towels for each guest. Additional linen is provided for stays of more than one week. Changeover services can also be arranged for stays of more than 1 week if required. 1 Parking space can be provided (Please book in advance and note there is a width/height restriction preventing tall vehicle access - check for details). No Hen or Stag type group bookings taken sorry!

A weekend stay at your lovely property. Clean and a good spot for access to the city centre bars and restaurants and the Principality Stadium. Well equipped and comfortable. We will be back.

“The stay was beyond yay.”

This is a beautifully presented Masonette, with an airy spacious kitchen. Only 10 minutes walk from the castle and the principality stadium, it could not be any better located. A friendly host, with a homely space. A stay here is highly recommended on your travels to Cardiff!

“Excellent City Break place”

Brilliant location, lovely place, huge kitchen/dining area, cosy lounge, bedrooms and beds all good and a very helpful host. Amazing to be next door to an Italian restaurant and 2 doors away from a great pub. Just all in all a great place for a City Break. (The Welcome hamper was a welcome touch as well)
