Description
Walnut, Chestnut and Oak Cottages are stone-built in traditional Normandy style and each has two double and two twin-bed rooms, a family bathroom with bath, washbasin, and wc, and a shower room with multi-jet shower, washbasin and wc. The shower/toilet room in Oak and Walnut Cottages is located on the ground floor and is immediately adjacent to a double bedroom, making it very convenient for grandparents or elderly guests.
Each gite has a spacious lounge with a comfortable sofa and easy chairs, satellite tv to receive English freeview channels and French language television., a DVD/CD player and a fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer, and a dining room with seating for up to eight people. Internet access is provided, as of course is all bed linen and towels, though guests are asked to bring their own beach towels.
To complement the exceedingly high standard of internal accommodation, each gite has its own patio area with table and chairs and its own bbq. The patios each open out into an extensive fully enclosed garden with children's swings, slide and trampoline, table tennis table and Aladdin's Cave full of children's toys, bats and balls. The property is approached by a separate driveway, has ample enclosed parking, and is just as ideal for families with young children as it is for couples and friends who want this convivial atmosphere from which to enjoy the delights of Normandy.
In each gite there is also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and clothes airer. There is also a good selection of books and DVD's and a large selection of literature regarding places of interest and leisure facilities in the area, there are also a selection of board games and children’s toys .
The grounds and gardens are fully secure with ample off-road parking and each patio has its own bbq. Bed Linen, towels and kitchen linen are all included, please supply own beach towels. No smoking in the accommodation please and sorry, no-pets. All properties are fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable.

“superb property, relaxing stay.”
Great property, spacious, light and airy , really peacefull location, great for exporing normandy. Terry and Liliane made us feel right at home. We had a really relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

“The best”
This property is superb and Terry and Liliane wonderful hosts. We were kept up to date from the moment we booked pre-covid until a few days prior to setting off. The welcome was excellent and we were provided with lots of information about the area then left to entertain ourselves although Terry and Liliane were available to to provide help, advise or just have a chat. The property was superbly equipped both inside and out and was very comfortable; it was also very easy to find thanks to the directions provided. The area is ideal for anyone interested in the Normandy Landings and there are also excellent beaches and towns within easy reach, Check with Terry and Liliane for information. Try the local bar with cheerful host Herve and pleasant customers; the local patisserie, the local butcher and last but not least the restaurant Le Relais des Forges. This place is wonderful, not Michelin starred but good honest food well used by locals and passing lorry drivers. A 3 course meal with a drink for 14.50 Euros is a steal and the host is very amicable. This is the best gite we have stayed in during many trips to France especially thanks to the wonderful Terry and Liliane so hopefully they stay safe and well for many years to come.

“Better than expected....”
A quiet village location within easy reach of the north and west coast beaches, this certainly has the WOW factor before you even walk through the door. The property is immaculate throughout with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms there is plenty of room for the largest family. Terry and Lilliane are the perfect hosts and have thought of everything you could possibly require to enjoy your stay. We stayed here as we were spending a week visiting the D-Day beaches which are around 20 mins away and we were lucky enough to celebrate the world cup final with the villagers at the local bar which was an amazing experience. This Gite is the best we have stayed at and Terry and Lilliane are very accomodating and will do their utmost to make sure you have a fantastic holiday as their knowledge of the local area is very handy. We would very highly recommend this gite to all our family and friends and to anyone that requires a clean, safe and large holiday accomodation. Hopefully we will be back soon..
