Description
Ancient farmhouse with tower situated in the centre of a family property of approx. 300 hectares with oak tree woods, sunflower fields and gently rolling hills, 16 km from Todi. Renovated with antique furniture created by the craftsmen of Todi, it is the ideal point of departure for cultural and nature excursions. The speedway E45 Terni-Perugia is 12 Km far away. 3 km away it is possible to visit an extremely rare example of fossil forest. There aren't other houses around the villa so it is a quiet location and the guests have a lot of privacy. The property has a large garden with a 13x5 meter pool, the whole property is for private use of the tenant. It is suitable for 3/5 families who want to go on holiday together or for groups until 25 persons. The main villa has 7 bedrooms for a total of 15 bed places + 2 double sofa bed. The dependance (tower) has 2 bedrooms and a passing room with doube sofabed. Both have a bedroom with bathroom suitable for wheelchair users. Restaurant/Pizzeria and supermarket 1 km far away.
If interested it's possible to have a cook for a lunch/dinner directly at the villa.
It's possible to purchase directly from the owner olive oil and wine.

“Great place for a family vacation”
We had a great time at Villa Maria. The rustique villa is situated on a hill with beautiful panoramas everywhere you look. The house was perfect for five families – large spaces for dinner and socialising. Great pool and surroundings. Very helpful hosts when one of the kids was ill and had to see a doctor. Higly recommended!

“Three generation villa”
The villa: marvellous setting on top of a hill. Inside: a lot of space, big rooms on three floors, nice bath rooms. Professional dishwasher machine, loads of plates and glasses, beautiful rustique furniture. Outside: big garden, breathtaking view over the landscape in all directions, pool. "Why leave the villa at all?", as one of us said. Good space for ten grownups and seven children from 1 to 12. We had all our meals on the porch outside, one night we booked a chef and we had a lovely Umbrian meal with live music in the soft Italian night. The wine produced on the spot was very good. We even made our own pizzas in the oven, near the pool. Many thanks to Paolo and Orietta! What a stay we had.
