Description
This charming flat is located at the heart of Castiglione del Lago old town (Umbria, Italy), a stone’s throw from the castle and within walking distance of the beach. Dating back to the 16th century, it retains numerous original features, such as wood beans and terracotta tiles on the ceilings, frescoed walls and stone tiled floors. It has windows on three sides with views of the pedestrian street and the lake. Its bedrooms are unusually large and the flat itself bursts with charm. You can park very close to the flat for free.

I am glad you liked the flat and enjoyed your stay in Castiglione del Lago. I would have happily explained how to turn the heating on had you mentioned it. As info for other guests, a couple of the salami&cheese shops in the village stock the basics and a bit of fresh fruit and veg, and the two bakeries do bread, pizzas and cakes. The market is on Wednesday morning (lots of fresh produce and other goods) and there is a KM0 fruit&veg stall and local cheesemaker on Saturday mornings. The bigger supermarkets are in the new part of town. I hope to see you and your family again!
