Description

Our villa is situated on a hill at 300 meters above sea level surrounded by greenery of nature among Oaks, chestnuts and palms with a large lawn where children can run and play freely. The pool measures 5 * 12 mt to be shared with the owners, next to the swimming pool there is a gazebo with barbecue, stove and sink into a large courtyard to enjoy great outdoor grills. The beach is 10 km with gravel or rocks; 15 km from Taormina where you can visit the Greek Theatre etc .... you can also visit the impressive Alcantara Gorges, the beautiful Blue Grotto and the Isola Bella. at 15 km from Mount Etna; 5 km from the fantastic 100 chestnut horses; 5 km from the railway station of Giarre. 40 km from Fontanarossa airport of Catania; 7 km from amusement park adventure park for adults and children. We put at your disposal also bicycles. In the vicinity there are many restaurants, food or user-friendly. A little further, always on our way, there is also a supermarket and butcher if you prefer to cook. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your holiday, appliances (hotplates, oven, refrigerator, Toaster, microwave and dish washer), etc.

“Brilliant villa and pool, brilliant owners”

We stayed in this property earlier this month. It is really clean and well cared for. The pool is large and very clean (it's unheated but, because of the beautiful weather, was a good temperature). The owners were so welcoming and very quick to respond to any requests we had. They were also very generous with their time, local knowledge and homemade wine :) The owner's brother also left a family gathering to come and collect us from a nearby town because the map we had wasn't suitable. He had brought local food for us, and wine, water and fruit were already in the fridge waiting for us, which was much appreciated as we arrived very late at night. The villa has got a lovely patio with a bbq and a table big enough for family dining. The whole villa is really spacious. The property is suitable for young children. Our two-year-old and four-year-old loved the pool, which has shallow steps so it was easy for them to play in the water. The owners provided a good quality cot and highchair. (I would also say, as the villa is one level with double doors on to the patio that it is very suitable for wheelchair users or anyone with mobility difficulties.) There isn't much equipment in the kitchen but that is a very minor downside. I'd happily stay at the villa again. It's in a beautiful part of Sicily and you can hear Mount Etna rumbling from patio!
