This semi-detached stone-built cottage in the village of Allendale in Northumbria and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Grove Cottage is a semi-detached stone-built cottage in the village of Allendale in Northumberland. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms, which are made up of a king-size double with an en-suite shower room and a king-size double which is zip/link and can be twin on request, as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area, sitting room with open fire, ground floor cloakroom and a games room with table tennis. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking and an enclosed patio garden with furniture. Set in stunning countryside, Grove Cottage is a great place to enjoy a holiday at any time of the year.

Electric AGA cooker with oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Enclosed patio garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub with restaurant 1 min walk.
Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Allendale is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north. There are lots of walks and unspoilt villages in the surrounding North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.
