The old village of Chateauneuf-Grasse, golf courses and the valley all the way to Theoule sur Mer is exactly what you want on your vacation. Close to the fashionable beaches of Cannes, Juan les Pins and Nice. The stone Bastide is situated on a spur of the Pre-Alps and is fully south oriented. In the immediate vicinity of the picturesque villages of Valbonne, Gourdon, Vence and Mougins, here you will enjoy the unique French atmosphere. Do have your morning coffee at the local bars or have a stroll on the village markets. The villa is within walking distance of shops, market, restaurants and public transport. Swimming golf, tennis, paragliding, sailing, rafting, hiking and skiing are among the many sporting opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Enjoy the beautiful summer evenings, comfortably on your own terrace overlooking the impressive lighted valley below. Choose to go to the boulevards of Nice, Cannes, Juan Les Pins and Monaco to dine in one of the many restaurants.

Getting around

Besides the car there are other ways to visit the area, the bus 500 stops at the bottom of the road and is a direct connection between Nice Airport and Grasse center, handy if you expect extra guests. The train from Grasse, via Mouans Sartoux to Cannes Nice etc. is highly recommended if you want to see a beautiful route along the coast to the Italian border Ventimiglia. You can get in and out of any train station, for example to have lunch on the coast. There is a ferry from Cannes to the islands off the coast, well worth a day trip.
