Such a charming cottage, the perfect mix of modern and traditional. Exceptionally clean , comfy and warm. The perfect place to curl up in front of a log fire with a good book. Nice cottage ideally located, though apparent friendliness of hostess marred by false accusation of concealing damage to kitchen bar stool one week after vacating property.

After cleaning and hoovering throughout we invited the host to inspect the property on our departure but they declined.

Beautiful view, ideal situation

We were welcomed to the cottage and then left to our own devices for the rest of the week - exactly how we like it but knowing that the owner was closeby if needed.
The cottage itself was ideal for us -practical, comfortable and with a sunny lounge with great views- We had two children and nana with us so having a shower as well as a bathroom was great. It was all really clean and plenty of space…

The location was perfect for us although it might be a little quiet for others, and there were plenty of things to do either for the day or just a couple of hours.I particularly liked Spey Bay. Beautiful accomodation in very nice - and quiet - surrounding

Very warm and friendly welcome. The tower provides everything a family or - like us - two couples need.
Lots of interesting sites are reachable within about 25 miles.
e.g. Elgin, Inverness, North Sea in Findhorn or Burghead and much more.
The tower is not really easy to find but in a very beautiful surrounding. It's very quiet, shops and things for the daily need are very close to get.

A great stay for us and our cat for over New Year. Great location for hillwalking, skiing (the Lecht is 5 minutes away) and the drive through Glenshee on the way is beautiful.

Fuel for open fire and electricity included in price (not like other places), very comfy bed and couch/chairs. Kitchen has all you need and bathroom is clean.
