On the downside:

Superb weekend!

Left on Jan 06, 2010 for a stay in October 2009

Had an amazing time during our weekend break at the barn. Not only is the location great for walking and visiting local pubs, the barn is decorated to such a high standard and was an ideal place for a celebrations with a large group of people. Everyone who came are thinking of excuses to come again, not that you'd need any!

Left on Apr 01, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Just back from a long weekend in The Cottage. It's actually not a cottage but a four bed, two bathroom house. In fact five bed, if you count the huge 'wardrobe room' allocated for a baby. It's rare these days to find anywhere so carefully and thoughtfully set out. The little things like providing salt and pepper, washing up liquid, stuff for the washing machine and dishwasher etc etc.so you don'…

Compact and comfortable

Left on Dec 03, 2009 for a stay in May 2009

This little cottage contains all that is necessary for a great holiday in the Peak Districk. We found the location very good and central for visiting all of the area and it's attractions including Chatworth House,Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham and Alton Towers. Great pubs in Hartingham
and very good area for walking. The owners were always on hand but never made their presence obvious.
