Our 15th century apartment building located at 27 rue Voltaire, is right in the heart of medieval Chinon on its most historic street, and was originally a "hotel particulier," a nobleman's townhouse. There are three other unique apartments in the building & you access our home from a classic, winding stone staircase. Superbly furnished and equipped, this is a beautifully decorated, light-filled apartment with skylight views of the 10th century castle, offering all the amenities you could expect from a luxury apartment. The kitchen is in brand-new condition for the French chef in you, and the charming, romantic master bedroom will make you feel like royalty. The modern, tiled bathroom has a proper stall shower with good water pressure, as well as a new washer/dryer. Toilet is separate. Located off the living room, the study/studio lounge offers additional sleeping quarters for 2 people. The apartment provides free/secure wireless Internet, Chromecast, a large screen tv with cable, and an electric keyboard for the use of guests. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people and is suitable for children above 12. Utilities are included. The apartment has new heating throughout, and was completely repainted in 2015. Our welcome book will guide you through every detail of the apartment. An excellent, local property management service company, FC Services Group, handles all our billing and scheduling, and will meet our guests upon arrival to show them the apartment; they are always available to our guests 7 days a week to help you in case of any emergency. “Chinon”
The apartment was lovely frank the agent was very helpful. The restaurants in the square are ok but if you go down the side streets they are alot better.
