Villa Borgo Valecchie offers an ideal combination of elegant simplicity and historical charm which create a unique experience and can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests.
Located just five minutes away from The Hill town Cortona.
Along with a private swimming pool, immersed within the Tuscan countryside, this holiday accommodation, offers peaceful views and a very family-friendly atmosphere.
Originally the building was a fort for protection of the farming land then it was converted into a unique Tuscan villa by the landmark during the 17th century.
Just a few years ago, it was tastefully restored into a charming and unique villa for rent with every attention to detail and history by the current local owners and finally it underwent a full renovation to the luxury and comfortable villa it is today.
The property includes high beam ceilings, traditional rich tiles of the tuscan valley, up scale furnishings, large bathrooms with modern shower heads. No detail went unnoticed in the selection of this elegant tuscan villa.
The current owners have also worked hard to unveil pieces of the original frescoes which once covered the walls, keeping them mainly covered and protected as they have been for the last hundred years but adding a highlight to every room.
The Villa is surrounded by typical tuscan landscape with an olive grove and outdoor amenities which include a lovely swimming pool (12m x 6m), shaded parking, and sitting/dining areas which seat up to fourteen people, providing views of the vineyard-covered hills.
The main dining terrace offers a pergola-covered table with BBQ, the gardens accentuate the nearby villa which towers over the brilliant countryside.
The views are spectacular and an ideal example of the beauty of Tuscany.
All windows are screened, sleeping suites offer individually-controlled air conditioning and flat-screen televisions will allow you to keep up to date with US, UK, French, and other national news / financial networks.
All services are owner managed and custom tailored to our guests needs!
Your stay also includes some simple food gifts from the owner which you will find at your arrival. If you'd like to have more wines, there is a wine/celler from which you may choose.
