Description

DeerewoodCottage is a charming self-contained three bedroom barn conversion sleeping up to six (+2 inc sofa bed). The cottage has been converted from a former farm buildings standing in the grounds of the owners' grade II listed farmhouse.

Once forming part of the historic Gunton Hall Estate, the grounds of Nursery Farm include eight acres of woodland that visitors are free to explore. The owners live in the grade two listed brick and flint thatched farmhouse close to the holiday cottages.

This delightful corner of rural Norfolk is only five miles from the traditional seaside town of Cromer, famous for its delicious crabs and the end of the pier shows. Also within easy reach are the Norfolk Broads, the fascinating network of waterways where day boats are available for hire.

There is a local bus which runs through Thorpe Market village to Cromer and North Walsham. Gunton station is 1 mile away and trains run to Cromer, Sheringham and Norwich

“Basic and tired”

The furniture is very tired with uncomfortable sofas. No dish cloths or tea towels provided so had go out and buy them. Beds were adequate but very low. Toilet seat downstairs broken.

“New Year 2017”

The accommodation was excellent and had everything we asked for when we booked. Even with 7 of us and 2 dogs we had more than sufficient room. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the welcome cake much appreciated. We are already looking at when we can return. Location wise was ideal with it being a short distance from Cromer.
