Description from owner

Description

Our beautiful Edwardian home contains a huge range of original period features. Your holiday will be a truly home from home experience.

We are very keen on the vintage style and enjoy collecting vintage items and artwork for a truly individual home and memorable holiday. We hope that guests will enjoy the calm atmosphere and the plentiful character it holds. It is the perfect setting for a relaxing break and group get togethers with family and friends. Each room has its own unique feel and are decorated tastefully with quality furniture and interesting items.

You can relax in the cosy living room with a large flat screenTV, DVD player, original fireplace and some nice artwork and sidelights. There is a range of books, boardgames, DVD's, music and magazines for guests use. It has large designer sofas perfect for a relaxing evening in. Please note the fireplace is currently not useable as we need to do some work on this. The dining room is large and sunny with a big dining table, a piano, some arty features and a glass display cabinet.

The house has high speed broadband.

There is a newly renovated (December 2018) shower room with double size shower in one bathroom and edwardian style fittings and another bathroom with an original roll top bath for a luxurious soak in our newly refurbished bathroom (2017). Please note there are no ensuite bathrooms so please consider the needs of your group before booking. There are also 3 toilets in the house with one on the ground floor. Bed linen is provided but towels are not.

The house is perfect for families, small groups of friends and even couples. It is very convenient being so close to the town and beautiful vast sandy beaches. Just a short walk to the famous Cromer pier with its array of seaside shows which we would highly recommend. Cromer town has everything you might need in terms of shopping, cinema, restaurants, pubs and a museum for any rainy days.

The living room, dining room and kitchen are all very cosy spaces and the garden is very lovely and sunny throughout the day perfect for relaxing or entertaining. There is outdoor table with seating and a bbq in the garden for your use.

The grand master bedroom is very large and has a king size feather and black bed and the other bedrooms all have victorian style bedsteads and adequate storage. The master bedroom has comfortable armchairs, a edwardian dressing table, a huge wardrobe and a stunning original fireplace and mirror, decorated in farrow and ball paint.

The twin guest bedroom next door has pretty twin cast iron single beds, original fireplace and victorian style wall paper.

The sunny back bedroom has a beautiful double bed, bay window, original fireplace and is very cosy, one of our favourites.

There are two single rooms on the top floor each with a single cast iron bed and new carpets.

Additional's such as housekeeping during the stay or the housekeeper to unpack your shopping delivery in the kitchen prior to your stay can be arranged- please enquire.

Please note towels are not included and we ask our guests to complete a booking form with details of who is staying and any specific requirements and also provide some ID.

Up to two small well behaved dogs will be permitted by guests for an additional fee of 25.00 per dog paid with the booking form. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture and any additional cleaned required will be charged to guests.

“Great holiday in Cromer!”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2021

The house was probably the best we had ever stayed in, and there has had plenty of competition over the years! We are a couple with 3 grown up daughters (one with a chronic illness) and a very small dog. Plenty of space and peace and quiet for all, within easy walking distance of the sea. We all liked Cromer and found lots to do, especially enjoying cycling, kayaking, walking, shopping and visiting nearby attractions.
