Beautiful stone buildings with all modern comforts in the Loire Valley. RAINBOW ARCH is one of the two houses of MUSCHAMP ARCHES which are lovingly restored original stone buildings. Set in the gently rolling countryside of the southern Loire Valley the region is perfect for a complete break. Yet there is so much to do in the area. Just 20 minutes from the bustling medieval town of LOCHES and within one hours drive of the wonderful Chateaux of the Loire Valley. But if you want to just enjoy the countyside there is plenty of possibilities to walk or cycle with footpaths and quiet lanes starting from the house.Rainbow Arch is beautifully restored and finished to a very high standard. Superb lighting, large modern kitchen/living area and underfloor heating for cooler periods are some of the many features of this delightful house, which still retains its attractrive white stone and wooden timbers. Attention to detail was a priority in its design, and Rainbow Arch also incorporates facilities for people with reduced mobility. Sleeps 2 to 4 (or 8 people incl. children when you reserve les deux arches)

“Relaxing stay!”

We arrived late in the day on a Sunday and we had not known it was a holiday. We were greeted by a wonderful woman by the name of Janet. She was delightful at the onset and welcomed us warmly. When we arrived all of the stores and restaurants were closed and she realized we did not have any food so she graciously prepared a plate. She showed us around and the house was very clean. As we were not familiar with the area she had prepared a booklet of all of the sites near by as well as location for the grocery, gas, post office, etc., which was very helpful. There were plenty of cooking utensils, sheets, towels, etc. internet and cable worked great. During the week, she introduced us to her husband and friends during a cocktail party that they thru. We had cocktails and long conversations several times during our stay for 2 weeks. We also had dinner twice and really enjoyed them. We still stay in touch with them today thru Facebook. I can not say enough about the hospitality shown by Janet and Steven. It was a great escape to just relax and do nothing but if you wanted to visit some of the very quiet hamlets you could.
