Cicek Evi (the house of flowers). Cicek is a converted village house set in the foothills just outside Dalyan. From the property you have a stunning view across the valley to the lake, beach, sea and a back drop of mountains - the real WOW factor in an oasis of peace and relaxation., Wonderfully quiet, the odd sound from across the valley, the tinkle of sheep bells or perhaps a tractor in the distance that is Gokbel. It is the nearest we will ever get to paradise.
Depending on the season you can pick from the terraced garden white mulberries, yummy on your morning muesli or lemons, oranges, grapes and pomegranates. The pool is one depth and is not fenced although not accessible from the veranda, so please consider your requirements for children. Pop down the hill to the pancake shop or stop off at a local restaurant only a few minutes drive. Dalyan is full of good restaurants, plenty of local shops, boats up the lake or down to the beach. Visit Caunos Roman ruins, see the Lycian tombs - the best of everything. For convenience you will most likely want to rent a car or scooter.

The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Cicek is a converted village house set up in the foothills just outside Dalyan. The interior benefits from 2 double and one twin bedroom all with their own private shower rooms. The master bedroom also benefits from a bath with shower. The double bedrooms open out onto a large balcony with views to the sea and mountains. We take our evening drinks up here and watch some amazing sunsets but your first cuppa in the morning with those Wow views are difficult to beat.
Downstairs offers a large open plan area leading out onto the terrace or to the swimming pool. A separate downstairs loo and washroom and hall. When our guests have got over the view they comment on the house feeling spacious and comfortable and well equipped but who sits in when you have that terrace and garden with those views

The house is situated in the foothills just outside Dalyan with seriously stunning views sweeping over the valley to a lake, the beach, sea and the distant mountains. We certainly believe that it has the WOW factor. Sit on the balcony and wait for the sunset. The house is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a covered seating area, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbecue. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
The swimming pool is of one depth of just under 6ft . There area sun loungers and an outdoor covered seating area next to the barbecue; flowering shrubs and fruit trees
This area of Gokbel is considered the jewel in the crown even by the locals. Outside the main tourist area of Dalyan you get the feel of village life and tranquility.

“Beautiful scenery and nicely appointed villa”
We had a week at Cecik Evi for our first visit to Turkey in 2010. The Villa is placed up in the hillside with fantastic views. It is very well appointed and has air-con which is a boon when returning from an exhausting day out in the sun. The main town is only 10-15 mins.drive away with some lovely little restaurants that you must visit between the villa and the town itself. I would definitely visit Turkey again and definitely recommend this particular villa.
