Traditionally renovated spacious gite in the heart of the Countryside, with terrace and garden, yet only 3 kms from the Historic (XII Century) mediaeval town of Domfront.
With 5 double bedrooms all en suite. Ideally suited for families or groups. Dining space for 10.
Set among beautiful rural Normandy countryside in the heart of the Poire region with abundant bird life and resident red squirrels. Swallows and Black Redstarts breed in the owner’s barn every summer!
Previously guests have seen foxes, deer and Barn Owls

By booking both gites guests can benefit from two kitchens, dining areas and two lounges - room to be togther! and apart as you wish, ideal for larger parties and extended family groups.
Gite de Torchis - Colombage and Torchis construction featuring large open plan ground floor with fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge. Three double bedrooms (one en suite). House Bathroom. Large mezzanine with far reaching views over countryside to the south. Secluded garden with large decked area, lawns and borders and separate breakfast terrace.
Gite de Pierre - With five tastefully decorated double bedrooms, all en suite (2 on ground floor) within traditional stone built barn conversion. Separate lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchen, large landscaped garden with views over the countryside.
A large covered parking area serves both gites.
The traditionally renovated Gites are set in 6 acres in the Normandy Countryside in the heart of the Poire region, yet only 3 kms from the Historic (XII Century) mediaeval town of Domfront.
Domfront has many excellent grills, restaurants, pizzerias & creperies.
A choice of supermarkets, boulangeries & patisseries. With narrow streets, inner courtyards & half timbered houses it is a fine example of mediaeval architecture. Leisure activities available in Domfront include Mountain Biking, Pony Trekking, Hiking Paths, Cliff Climbing Site, Fishing, Tennis and Bike Hire.

“Lovely place to relax”
