The beautifully-presented Cavendish apartment is set on the hall floor of a Victorian villa in central Eastbourne.

Stylishly decorated and basking in natural light, this Exclusively Eastbourne apartment is just a few minutes stroll from the beach and moments from the cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants, Eastbourne theatres, Towner Art Gallery, Devonshire Park Tennis and town centre.

The contemporary, open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen is tastefully appointed for both comfort and practicality. The lounge has a Smart TV with DVD, and the apartment includes free WiFi. There is a fully-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine.

This self catering Eastbourne holiday flat has a double bedroom, plus a larger twin bedroom with space for a camp bed or travel cot (we can provide). The bathroom, with underfloor heating, jacuzzi bath with shower over, and fluffy towels, offers an opportunity for indulgence and escape.

Linen and towels are included. Parking is on street and we can provide permits for just £2 per car, per day.

Response from the manager Thanks for finding time for the review and great to hear that you enjoyed the apartment and its fab location, very close to the beach, theatres and town centre. The owner takes great pride in the quality, impeccable cleanliness and styling of the apartment and would always ensure that any issues such as blown light bulbs are dealt with immediately so I am sorry that you never mentioned it. Had you mentioned the heavy-footed guests above you she would also have had a quiet word as she always does her utmost to provide an enjoyable experience for all. Leather sofas can be a little polarising - whilst they look amazing and some enjoy the feel, I appreciate that they are not necessarily for everyone. All linen is provided as well as nice little touches such as toiletries, fizz on arrival, chocolates and milk for a cuppa. Apologies for the misunderstanding on the 'bath sheets' - the term refers to large bath towels rather than actually of a 'sheet' size and, of course, hand towels are also provided, plus bath mats. Bath robes are also provided which again reflects the overall quality of the apartment and the official 'Gold' standard it has achieved via the VisitEngland grading scheme. “Nice and cosy home. You have to treat it like your own home.”

This flat is in short walking distance to a beautiful beach. It is located near the city centre of an old and beautiful town. It can be used as a base to visit nearby beaches and towns. The flat is on the first floor of a Victorian-style town house. It is nice and clean so you have to treat it like your own home. £200 deposit is at the highest charge at any similar holiday booking. A few drops of none-removable stains on the carpet would lose your deposit. Therefore, you must be extremely careful, even more careful than you are at home.

“Lovely, luxury apartment;”

We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 4 it was so lovely. Very comfortable; beautifully laid out apartment, within minutes of the sea. Owner very helpful. Great little unexpected luxuries, like chocolates and fizz in fridge on arrival! Definitely would book to stay here again only comment was that the sofa was not very comfortable - as in not very wide front to back, and slippery (leather)!

“She thought of everything”

Anyone that's traveled with little ones knows how trying it can be, so we were pleasantly surprised at how easy our stay was. Angela, the homeowner, thought of everything - from setting up a cozy cot for our daughter to having toys waiting for her when we arrived at Cavendish (she squealed when she saw them!). She also had a binder complete with information we needed to know about the apartment & area highlights, which made our stay that much easier - no endless searches for restaurants or nearby attractions. Also the location can't be beat, just about 2 blocks from the seafront. Also, she included milk & juice in the fridge to get us started, as well as some other tasty goodies - very much appreciated after a long flight. If I had a complaint it would be the uncomfortable sofa - but other than that, we loved our stay.
