Just a stone's throw from Sengekontacket Pond, this renovated vineyard summer cottage is perfect for a family vacation. (the owner knows, because this is the owner's family vacation home!) It is charming & beautifully maintained & is in a private setting just minutes from town and beaches. Every room is light, painted in summer colors & furnished with "country living" furniture. Thoughtful touches are everywhere. Sit on one of two decks, sip iced tea and relax! Coolers and beach chairs provided for your trip to the beach!
Our neighborhood around Sengekontacket Pond is the laid back vineyard at its best -- relaxed and beautiful. The pond itself -- a shallow home to salt marshes -- is perfect for kayaking, canoeing, or just enjoying the view out to Nantucket Sound. State beach is just on the other side of the pond, an easy ride on the bike path or a short canoe ride across the pond. Miles and miles of Martha's Vineyard's paved bike paths start just down the road from our cottage -- an easy ride to the beach, through the state forest, or into Edgartown, Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary is right around the corner, filled with wildlife, trails and great programming for kids.
