This cottage was an ideal bolt-hole; tucked in Wrelton village off the main route into Pickering, with an excellent village pub.The landlord/lady were very personable and served us a very tasty, tho' inexpensive evening meal.

We had a lovely weekend break at Tranmire Cottage, we had a very warm welcome from the owners,it was very nice inside with everything you could possibly need. Lovely little chalet

Came for a week away and it was lovely, had everything we needed and was a very pleasent experience. Its very quiet around there and there is ample area for the dog within the grounds. The cottage was brand new; set within the backdrop of the working farmyard. As such the accommodation blended both modern facilities and comfortable 'home from home' surroundings within a truly relaxing farmyard setting. Should you need a friendly local guide or if things go wrong, the owners being on site help maintain the relaxing atmosphere, which was a marvellous benefit. I will certainly be …

Quiet chill in the country

The cottage was easy to find, inside it was warm and welcoming with lots of original features. It was warm and cosy with the central heating and the open fire upstairs in the lounge was great on a night. The village centre was 2 minutes walk away with all the shops, bakers, butchers and pubs you could need. We recommend a visit to the indian restaurant, good food at reasonable prices. The walking…

Unexpectedly brilliant holiday

Lovely cottage,great village,good places to eat. In the middle of stunning countryside and within easy reach of so many places of interest, we could have filled the week three times over. The owner was helpful without interfering and if you want a relaxing holiday you don't need to move from the comfort of the cottage, or the village.

had a realy nice time lovley place, although we did firnd it a little too close to the owners, but other than that it was realy well equiped clean and very comfortable and warm.
