From this privileged location, perfectly situated near Falaise in the centre of the region, all the major sights are within reach.

The cultural treasures are an all year round treat - there are over 900 historical monuments and many heritage towns and old world villages to visit. Alongside the diverse architecture of castles, abbeys manor houses and half timbered cottages there are excellent Museums for fine art - the unique lighting , fabulous seascapes and countryside inspired the Impressionist movement .

And for those keen on nature and outdoor sport ,there are waymarked trails for hiking , interesting cycle tours, very many stables offering horse riding. The Parcs Naturels protect rivers and gorges for kayaking and canoeing, climbing and even bungy jumping in the Suisse Normande region.

One of the pleasures for all, is enjoying the quality and variety of these Normandy cuisine which is famous in France and worldwide. The simplest meal is a treat with the classic cheeses, seafood , fruit and creamy desserts all washed down with apple based cider and calvados.
