3 Bedroom/2Bath two story house with pool and gorgeous views

Located in Umbria, Italy, Casa Le Crete is a nicely positioned country house in the middle of the Orvieto Classico wine country just outside the hills of Ficulle, an ancient city whose roots date back to the Etruscan civilization.

Its privileged location at the top of a slope affords the villa 360 degree panoramic undisturbed views and is reached by a private access road. Please note:The last two kilometers of driving are unpaved and can require the use of a larger car/jeep or cross over. Nothing daunting or scary, but more uneven/bumps.

Casa Le Crete

The two story renovated 120 sqm. farm house is situated on a hill with spectacular views in an oasis of peace surrounded by 4,250 sqm land with vineyard and swimming pool.

The farmhouse is comprised of two separate residences (La Dolce Villa, which is the owners home and La Dolce Vista which is the rental property. Together they make up Casa Le Crete. Complete privacy is guaranteed as the owners are never in residence when the property is rented.

La Dolce Vista

You enter from the pebbled walk way through the double glass doors. Just outside these doors is the small cafe table where you can easily take your morning cappucino. Then into your kitchen/dining area where there is an antique round oak antique table which will accommodate 6. Kitchen is equipped with full size European refrigerator and dishwasher. All your meals can be readily produced in this kitchen.

Walk into the cozy living room where French doors open and look out onto a beautiful view of the countryside and the swimming pool. Living room is outfitted with comfy couch, wicker arm chairs and has a ‘stufa' (wood burning stove in the corner). Outside the living area is a large rustic wooden table and chairs. Most probably you will spend lots of time here sipping un bicchiere di vino or enjoying apertivi. Please note house is also equipped with steam heating for colder months (which is a separate charge).

A bedroom with queen size bed is located on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom. Color scheme of woodland green and lavender soothes the spirit as you look out the double doors onto your private patio and the olive trees and grape vines. Botanical vintage prints the owners have collected are displayed on the walls.

Second floor consists of two bedrooms and bathroom at the end of the hall.

Master bedroom is large and roomy with a king bed. Artwork is all original and painted by members of the family.

There is another bedroom with twin beds located off the master. Beds can be arranged together to accommodate couples or singly for children. Baby crib is available (pack and play). Top of staircase has a gate.

The large second bathroom with frameless shower door enclosure is located at the end of the hall. Stair case connects the two levels.

Washing machine is located in the Technical Room outside the house.

There is a bocce court and bocce balls are located in the Technical Room.

A soccer ball and net is located there as well as Badminton Racquets.

Getting around

Most convenient way is to rent a car and visit the many hill town located near by. The Fabro train station can have you in Rome or Florence within 1 1/2 hours. Great for day trips plus you can park your car there for 'free' if you decide on an overnight(s) trip.

Interaction with guest

You will be met by our Caretaker Stefano at the house or if you prefer at an agreed upon location. Nearest Exit is Fabro on A-1 which is minutes away. It is usually best to arrange to meet Stefano at the La Bettola del Buttero Ristorante at the exit.
