Description
This particular flat , recently renovated , overlooks one of the most beautiful and characteristic pedestrian areas of Genoa. The flat is at the third floor of a historic building , just steps from the Aquarium and Expo . The apartment is fully air -conditioned and comprises a large living room with kitchen , two bedrooms that your request can be either double both single, by a third small double bedroom and two bathrooms, all furnished with design Italian quality please note the 3rd room is a spare one, while the first two are big and bright, this is smaller then usual - in it there is however a pull down double bed where can comfortably sleep two adults
The area is very quiet. Public car parkings are less than two hundred meters away, a private parking space is available at 5 minutes walk (charges applicable). Wireless Internet access is free and available throughout the house . The area is characterized by many shops, supermarkets ( including the supermarket / restaurant, Eataly ) and restaurants. Genova Principe railway station and Cruise Ship port can be reached with a short walk. The underground is about five hundred meters away. In the tourist area of the Old Port beside the Aquarium one can find the panoramic lift , Il Bigo, the Botanic Biosphere and the ferries to sightsee the port or to go to Cinque Terre, Portofino, Camogli or to sail for a Whale Watching adventure . Casa Acquario Acqua Marina and the many ancient streets of Genoa are ready to accommodate you, please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information you may need. Private parking available in the vicinity, advance booking is necessary, charges are applicable. The Neighborhood:this flat is set in Pia zzz Fossatello, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, at a few steps from Genoa's fascinating Old Harbor (an area attractively redeveloped by the renowned architect Renzo Piano), just a short walk to the city's famous Aquarium and the Museum of the Sea. Casa Acquario Acqua Marina is also very close to the Ponte dei Mille Cruise Terminal. Genoa's historic city center is very close by, inviting visitors to discover the glories of the Palazzo Ducale or the Via Garibaldi, with its famous Palazzo Bianco, Palazzo Rosso and Palazzo Tursi museums.The property, easily accessible from the Principe railway station and the airport, is just a short walk from Genoa's Magazzini de Cotone congress center, an international showcase that also provides a setting for exhibitions, shows and cultural events, and to the ferry terminal to Cinque Terre, Portofino and Camogli. Casa Acqua Marina is ideally located for short holiday stays and family visits. A private parking is available nearby (charges applicable).
Since clarity and transparency are important ingredients for a reciprocal understanding and a warm welcome we wold like to underline final cost does not include: tourist tax ( 1e per day, per adult ) who all registered and legal holiday rental have to collect in behalf of Genoa Municipality ; parking; AC is an optional service during summer costing 5e per day.
We have a double bed, a single folding ded and 4 single beds that come become double on request.
According to Italian law all guests, kids included, have to show a valid pic ID at their arrival in order to register their presence to Public Authorities. If a passport, identity card etc. is not shown in is not possible stay in the property
Genoa municipality applies a 1euro per day city tax (for a maximum of 8euro per stay). Are exempt from paying it all guests with less of 14 years and all those staying for health reasons and they carers.

Response from the owner Thanks for your stay and review - a flat has not normally a luggage deposit. When possible we extend check-out time or keep our guests' luggage, but what should we do when we have new people checking in the same day? tell them to come later because previous guests need to stay longer? sorry but your ' disappointment' is not justified at all and reading your comment at this regard is very frustrating. If your just for 4 and not 5 star review is given by that is complitely unfair and a sign of contempt for those who have put all of themselves into warmly welcoming you. When writing a review this should be considered.

Response from the owner Merci pour votre séjour et commentaires. La maison est conçue pour accueillir 6 personnes. Comme on vous a dit avant de réserver le septième invité doit dormir dans un lit d'appoint, et vous le savez, il est pas aussi confortable que d'un lit standard. Les six autres personnes ont la place d'un lit très confortable. Les deux salles de bains et la salle de séjour avec coin cuisine rende l'espace très approprié pour les groupes.
