Description

In 1969 our family first visited Great Harbour Cay, and before the afternoon was out they fell in love with the Island and purchased their first property - even though it was still under construction at the time! A few years later they purchased this beach villa once it was completed. Four generations of our family have enjoyed the property and we love it as our personal home, and are happy to be able to share the experience with our guests. This personal attention is evident in the high end spa-like furnishings, designed by a renowned San Francisco interior designer with new furniture inside and out.

Whether your ideal vacation consists of action packed days of watersports, relaxing on the beach, or taking a nap on a hammock under a palm tree, our beach front villa on Great Harbour Cay is the perfect destination.

Our double sized villa is steps away from the beach with unobstructed ocean views and a wrap around deck, and consists of a separate bedroom with two full beds, a loft with a queen size bed, a twin day bed, full kitchen, and two full baths, accommodating up to 7 people. A pack and play can also be provided for the little ones.

The villa is equipped with a phone and wifi if you feel the need to remain connected to the rest of the world. We are also pet friendly.

The beaches on the island are among the most beautiful in the world, and you will never meet friendlier people than those from Great Harbour Cay.

The property is great for a group of friends, a romantic getaway, a family trip, or a special event like an engagement or even weddings.

We can arrange for a boat with guide that can take you fishing, kiteboarding, snorkeling, spearfishing, or just island hopping to find your own stretch of deserted beach.

Guest Access

Our guests will have exclusive access to the entire villa. No one else but you will be on site, but our manager who lives nearby will be available to assist you- whether it is to show you the local stores for shopping, suggesting a restaurant, arranging for a rental car or boat, or even bringing by some fresh coconuts!

Interaction with Guests

We will not be present, but can be reached with any questions, and the manager is always nearby if needed.

The Neighborhood

The Beach Villas are part of a small development directly on the beach less than a mile from the airport. It is just a short car or bike ride to several stores and restaurants. The people on the island are very kind and friendly, and the beaches are among the best in the world.

Getting around

The property manager can pick you up at the airport (a 2 minute drive away), and we can also help to arrange taxis or a rental car. We also provide 4 bikes and 2 kayaks for your use, and anywhere on the island is within walking/biking distance.

Other Things to Note

Great Harbour is easily accessible by air- a 20 minute flight from Nassau or about 50 minutes from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. We are happy to help you arrange flights.

How do damage deposits work?

If Darin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
