Situated in Minho region – North of Portugal "Cazal da Lamella" is located in Fafe, about 5 km from the city center. Guimarães (European Capital of Culture 2012) is 18 km away, National Park Peneda-Gerês is at 43 km and Oporto International Airport is at 74 km (55 minutes).
"Cazal da Lamella" is a typical cottage rebuilt in 2011. The complex includes two independent houses in a 2 ha private park, providing great tranquility for those who wish to stroll through the water and the flora of the agricultural landscape of northern Portugal.
"Cazal da Lamella" was restored with all the comfort and preserving the original architecture. In the living room the fireplace becomes a friendly meeting point for long conversations in the winter evenings. The house of " Cazal da Lamella - Casa do Forno" is a special place for a comfortable stay where the sun and the observation of birds, flora and lake create an atmosphere of the rural way of life in the north of Portugal.
