Due to the pandemic we are still taking bookings as the flat is self contained to adhere to social distancing and all due health checks we are unable to enter the property with you. The flat is deep cleaned with bleach in between guests.

Located in one the most prestigious and leafy areas of Brighton, yet within easy reach of the city centre, this well established flat is a firm favourite with visitors and offers a bright and airy accommodation consisting of a large double bedroom (with plenty of storage), bathroom , an open plan kitchen/living space/dining area with sleek lines throughout and a modern/retro finish. All mod cons in the kitchen. There is a sofa bed (with a proper double mattress) in the sitting room that sleeps 2. TV and DVD provided and free wifi. All bed linen towels are provided.

The flat has it's own private Patio garden with a sofa, tables & chairs. A perfect place to relax and take in the views.

The flat is attached to a large house but has it's own entrance and back door, therefore is totally self contained. We are just 10 minutes walk from the South Downs and all the fantastic hiking or just a short bus ride into the centre of Brighton with all the amenities therein. Easy road access to the Universities.

There are 2 collies on the premises that are very friendly and extremely inter-active. If you don't like dogs – this is not the place for you. We also have five chickens who have free access to all of our private garden.

Children are welcome but due to the pool and main terrace being unfenced parents must take full responsibility - we cannot.

Close to shops, bar and restaurants.

We are served by 2 excellent bus routes. The 27 terminus is located at the end of the road and the 5 goes from the London road which is 3 minutes away. The nearest railway station is Preston park which is 10 minutes walk away.

Interaction with guest

We are generally around if you need us, but as a rule we leave guests to themselves. The flat garden is very private

“Friendly and comfortable stay”

We visited for a staycation short break. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming including some nice surprises in the fridge. The accommodation suites us perfectly and with a short 10 min max walk to the station we got into Brighton centre easily. Great area of Brighton as next to the South Downs. Would recommend fully for short breaks and week holidays as everything you need is provided.

Lovely place, very clean and comfortable. Hilary was very nice and left us welcome and wine and bagels. The cottage is a 20 min drive to Brighton with very easy bus access.

“Lovely stay, Great location”

Stayed for 3 nights to visit Brighton with friends. Hilary was a very helpful host, keeping in contact before our stay and greeting us on arrival. Lovely place and location to stay with great transport into Brighton. Weather was lovely so enjoyed the pool area. Bus stop just at the bottom of road £5 for an all day bus ticket including night bus back. The dogs are adorable and very friendly. Apartment had all we needed for our stay with lovely views in a lovely area. Would love to visit again with the family. A great place to stay to enjoy Brighton and Hove.
