Description

South Wing is a beautiful Grade 11* listed home in the village of Hunmanby, just two miles from the sea on the North Yorkshire coast, with easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds.

A former school, it is now equipped with five large, bedrooms and can accommodate up to 14 people in comfortable beds dressed with high quality linen and plump duvets.

With an elegant main lounge complete with baby grand piano and a wood-burning fire and a dramatic oak-panelled dining room, it is an ideal location for family get-togethers or groups of friends.

South Wing is set in its own grounds with over an acre and a half of garden and woods, perfect for kids and pets to explore, or simply to relax in the sunshine.

Guests can walk through the gardens to a well serviced village with pubs, deli, bakery and Yorkshires only whiskey distillery.

Great for the outdoor life, it's the perfect spot for great beach walks, summer barbecues, sundowners on the roof terrace and croquet on the lawn.

For rainy days it is well equipped with BT Sports, BT Infinity Broadband, a 65’’ smart TV in a lovely, cosy TV lounge , and lots of books, puzzles and games plus plenty of space to enjoy.

Getting around

Hunmanby has a small train station with services to Scarborough, Hull and a number of stations in between . There is also a bus service running between Scarborough and Hull. The majority of guests arrive by car and it’s definitely worth having a car available to be able to access all the area has to offer,

How do damage deposits work?

If Andrew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
