“Comfortable, cheap and away from the crowds.” A nice big room with everything you need, run by a very friendly couple. The house is far enough away from the busy tourist areas to be peaceful, but close enough to easily reach the main Seminyak/Legian/Kuta areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is after a quite and comfortable place to stay.

“Beautiful and peaceful” We spent 16 days at The Studios Ubud in July 2013 and we had a great time there. Booking was very easy and the apartments (we stayed in both) are very comfortable and perfectly equipped. The location is peaceful and relaxing inside a beautiful compound very well kept indeed. It is also quite convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby, one small supermarket next door and a bigger one a bit further down the road, and Ubud centre at walking distance (around 20 minutes). The staff were always very helpful and friendly. So, it was a perfect stay for us and we highly recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Ubud.

“Spacious and Safe Haven in a Convenient yet Scenic Location” I stayed here for six weeks while I was on a part holiday / part business trip to Ubud. It was a really wonderful choice as I felt totally safe and loved there by the friendly owner and her very attentive staff. It was great to have the privacy of my own room, but yet Mary Lee, the owner, was always there for a friendly chat. Her team of three took amazing care of me and my room which was kept tidy every day and would even go to the market for me to buy fresh fruits. While I did not do much cooking there was the ability to cook a simple meal in the well equipped kitchenette. I also really enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool each morning. The apartment is set amongst rice paddy fields, but was surprisingly just a five minute walk to the main part of Ubud. I walked everywhere and found so many fantastic restaurants in the vicinity. Highly recommended for single women who want a taste of real Bali, but in a situation that makes them feel totally comfortable and safe.

“Fantastic” We stayed here for 13 days. Everything about this place we loved. Apartment is exactly as photos show and Nyoman and all the staff are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We hired a scooter and had the best time. The apartment was cleaned every day when we left and to a very high standard. We cannot wait to rebook for next year. Thankyou very much to everyone at Smart Comfort...you made our trip with a wonderful base to come back too at the end of the day
