Kalkan Dream Villa
Welcome Pack provided upon arrival.
Our modernly furnished spacious villa with heated infinity pool and kids' pool is fully equipped with from all the necessary amenities to even the smallest details and it's suitable for a romantic honeymoon, for large groups or families. Get ready for a relaxing stay and pamper yourself with a great view by the private infinity pool or by the jacuzzi in the master bedroom.
The space
The photos provided on Airbnb are from 2018, and they are due to be updated in summer 2022. Between 2020 and 2022, many parts of Kalkan Dream Villa were renovated. The most major upgrades include:
- The infinity pool is reconstructed to add stairs in, and it's lowered from 1.90m depth to 1.60m. It is also a heated pool now upon request.
- New shaded area around the pool area, and outdoor seating lounge under it.
- The balcony on the middle floor is rebuilt, and new rails were custom made for the lower floor’s terrace.
- Replaced the TV with a curved 4K Samsung TV with Netflix Premium account.
- New furniture, rugs, pillows, accessories in each room.
- Automatic hot/cold water dispenser, renewed all the cutlery and added more stuff to the kitchen.
- 500 new clay pots around the garden, to emphasize the Mediterranean feeling of the villa.
- Fixes around the houses, painted all the interiors, new rain shower heads in the top 2 rooms’ bathrooms for the ultimate relaxation.
Due to the uncertain times we are passing by, we've increased the intensity of our cleaning procedures. We are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Disinfectants and Rebul colognes (80°) are provided in each floor and room.
Take a break and enjoy the good scenery in a relaxing and comfortable 400 m2 wide villa. The villa is surrounded by a huge garden and plenty of space for everyone in the household. There is no other house on top of you and there is only one neighboring villa which is mostly vacant throughout the year. Located on top of a hill, Kalkan Downtown is just 1 km away by foot or by car, whilst the sea is just 100 meters away (bird's eye view).
Every day early in the morning our gardener cleans the pool, trims the garden and leaves some fresh loaves of bread on your door.

The tap water is safe to drink, it's fresh from the mountains. In 2020 many parts of Kalkan Dream Villa went under renovation and many improvements made, providing a fresh and a more relaxed stay than ever.

“In a nutshell....'Paradise!'”
From the moment we arrived we were looked after. Ibu gave us such a warm welcome and every morning left us a fresh loaf of bread! Never intrusive but always on hand if needed. The villa is superb (but not recommended for small children because of the stairs) and the view is unbelievable. The introduction of the new road can make it a bit noisy at times and the route to the beach and town a bit daunting but it certainly is not a show stopper. The villa was very well stocked in terms of toiletries etc and very much appreciated. We only found three bedrooms and only one was a double rather than what is advertised. This was our second visit to Kalkan and if we ever go back, we would not entertain any other villa - it cannot be beaten for privacy and views. The Topaloglu family are all very charming and the gift of the Baklava was lovely! Absolutely fantastic villa.

“Absolutely Fantastic”
I can only say that Kalkan Villa and it's views across Kalkan bay are absolutely stunning, I have never stayed in such a beautiful place and the property itself could not be bettered. My familly found the locals all to be very welcoming and friendly, never a hint of trouble, no rowdy drunks and we all felt very safe. The old town of Kalkan with its quaint streets, shops and bars are wonderful as are the many roof top restaurants. We can recommend "The Fez", "Authentic", "Chapter One", "Trio" and "Mussaka" to name but a few. We ate as a family of five for between 160-180 TL per night (and this included cocktails and beers), this equates to £64 to £72 which isn't bad! The boat trips (day trips) around Kalkan bay are very good but you do need to be able to swim otherwise you will be stuck onboard the boat whilst others swim to the many beaches and coves visited. If you have a car I recommend a trip to the town of Fethiye which has many pretty streets with excellent leather and jewellery shops. A trip to the Saklikent Gorge is a must, whilst there please cross the mountain stream and continue to walk up the gorge for approx 2km where you will come across a beautiful waterfall (very refreshing). Whilst there visit the mud baths, works wonders on your skin! On Thursday's there is a market where you can enjoy a good haggle with the market stall holders or simply sit with them and enjoy an apple tea, very enjoyable with no pressure to buy. Lastly, the villa where we stayed. Kalkan Villa is simply devine, with it's infinity swimming pool a must in the heat of the summer day. The villa sits high up above the main road (D400) but the traffic is light and posses little or no noise. With it's high perch the views from any of the two balconies or bedroom windows is simply breath taking, a delight when you opening the curtains on waking. We even saw mountain goats drinking from the waterfall which has been cleverly built into the rocks behind the villa. However, don't take my word, why don't you visit yourself, I know that you won't be disappointed.

“A view to Die For”
We have just returned from a glorious holiday in Kalkan having stayed at the Villa Mediterranean. We received a very warm welcome from Abdullah and his Manager Ibo, who had already ensured our fridge was stocked up with the best Welcome Pack ever. Nothing was too much trouble and Ibo was always on hand if we needed him. The accommodation is huge and ideal for two families and as the villa is split meant our teenagers had their own space. There are steep steps leading to the villa which may not be suitable for the elderly or very young children. But best of all is the view; probably the best in Kalkan. We spent many hours on the large terrace with a glass of wine just watching the sun go down; completely uninterrupted views. There is a short walk into town approx 10 mins and it is hoped a proper footpath will be complete next year. Thank you Abdullah for letting us stay in your beautiful villa – we loved it.

Response from the owner Our costumer left our villa in a good mood. But it’s clear that he had some problems with the transportation firm. That’s why he gave negative scores to the villa. We see this reaction as a normal behaviour. It won’t be a surprise if this costumer chooses our villa again in the following years.
